Chapter Four
Destiny’s pov
The sun streaming through my blinds woke me up the next morning. My back arched as I stretched out my limbs. A faint smile crosses my face and a small sign escaped my lips. Saturday, my favorite day of the week. I swung my legs off the bed and let out a huge yawn. I pushed myself off the soft plush bed and made my way to the bathroom. I walked straight past the mirror already knowing that my hair would be a bird’s nest and turned the shower the hottest it would go. Ten minutes later my hair was plastered to my back and my body wrapped in a plush towel. I ran my brush threw my hair. When I was done I yanked open the door to the bath room letting all the stream flow out of the room behind me.
“Damn. If I’d known that you’d be in a towel, I would have come quicker.”
I spun around and came face to face with Jonathan. Fuck. Kill me now.
“What are you doing in my house!”
“Calm down Princess. Trish invited me." His eyes raked over my body.
"My eyes are up here you jack ass!"
He stalked closer pinning me against the door. His warm breath sent shivers down my spine.
"Go out with me." He whispered. My hands gropped for the door knob.
"When hell freezes over." I smiled sweetly as I push the door open and slammed it in his face.
"Jonathan!" Trish screamed. "Get your ass out here!" His footsteps faded down the hall. I poked my head out the door and quickly made my way into my room. Yanking open the closet I threw a pair of black shorts and a free hugs t-shirt. Deciding to skip makeup all together I walked out to the kitchen. As soon as I walked into the kitchen I could smell the burnt food. The medium kitchen was crowded. Trish was holding a pan with what looked to be burnt scrambles eggs. She looked up from the eggs and smiled at me.
"Destiny will you cook?" If I said no everyone here would be forced to eat whatever Trish cooked.
"Why not?" I looked around the room and noticed Jonathan chatting away with Luca and two other guys and Trish gushing about the new shoes she bought with her parents with a girl. I went to the eggs and milk from the fridge.
"Need any help?" Jonathan asked reaching over head to grab a bowl from the cabinet.
"Go get the potatoes from the pantry and the bacon from the fridge." Without saying a word he did as told. To my surprise he had never peeled a potato in his life. I abandoned the half scrambled eggs in the bowl and went to help. We finished cooking in silence.
