You're Mine: A Monster Falls Fanfic

Bill's POV

I told Dipper he would be okay, but I wasn't so sure myself. I didn't know if I'd be able to save him. The poison was already flowing through his veins it wouldn't be long until-

He coughed again, blood landing on my coat. I would have scolded him if it weren't for the current situation. I just bought that coat!

I set him down on the grass. Placing my hands on his chest I tried to ease some of the pain, but I think I only made it worse.

Dipper began screaming in unimaginable pain. It hurt me to see him like this. But I knew I had to make him better.

My hands lit on fire signaling the spell was working. I could feel the energy in his body stabling but the poising was fighting it.

"B-Bill.. it hurts!" He cried out grabbing my arm. He was crying. My Pine Tree was crying.

I felt all the anger built up inside of me explode. My powers surged into Dipper causing him to scream louder than before.

My fire died down and I saw him motionless in front of me. What had I done! I'd killed him! I'd killed my Pine Tree!

I shook his body furiously hoping it would wake him. He didn't move. My cheeks felt wet and I rubbed away tears. Did I just cry? Me? Crying? I'd never ever seen such a thing..I've never felt the pain of losing someone before but now..

Pine Tree sat up quickly gasping for breath like I'd sucked all the air from his lungs. I watched him closely as he took in his surroundings.

His eyes were bloodshot, and he was extremely pale, except for his cheeks. They were a rosy color, and probably the only sign of life in his frail body.

"Pine Tree?" I called out to him hoping he'd answer.

He turned towards me and the corners of his mouth turned up. His smile was soft but sincere.

"You saved me again didn't you?" He questioned putting his hand on my gloved one. I nodded and smiled. Technically he had saved me as well.

"What did you do to Ford?"

"I gave him a little scare, so he shouldn't be back anytime soon."

His ears dropped and I could tell he felt bad.

"Pine Tree... um.. if you hadn't saved me I probably wouldn't be alive either. I hadn't realized how many weaknesses Ford found out about me in our time together."

"Time together?" He questioned turning toward me.

"Another story for another time," I said standing up off the ground. He would figure out eventually that I had manipulated Ford to do my bidding. But now wasn't the time to talk about it.

He stood and followed me into my cabin-- no, our cabin. I was so great full that he was alive and even more great full that he had risked his own life for mine. I am immortal and I will never die but there are ways that I can be diminished from this word. Of course they'd never last eternity.

Lifting Pine Tree on the couch I placed him on my lap. He had grown so much in the time we shared together. His spots were almost faded and his antlers had grown. Soon enough they'd be big enough to poke out someone's eye. He was a magnificent creature indeed.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He questioned, "you're looking at me like I'm your food."

I shook my head slightly responding, "I'm just taking in everything that has happened in the past couple of months. You know when I first saw you my initial plan was to-"

I stopped myself when I saw his face.

"But then," I continued, "then I realized the truly magnificent creature you were and much better off alive. I don't know what I would have made of my life if I hadn't found you."

"You would probably be off reading havoc on some other family," he said rolling his eyes.

"Maybe. But I'm sure one way or another I would have found my way to you."

I hugged him tightly. I wish he could be mine forever. Maybe.. Maybe he can be!

"Pine Tree?"

"Yes Bill?"

"What if you.. became.. immortal?" I finally asked after a few moments of silence.

"I-immortal?" He stammered.

"Yes, immortal. You know? If you can live forever, we can be together.. forever."

I think that was the first time I really admitted to myself out loud that I wanted to be with him. And I think that was the first time he realized I really meant it.

"Forever?"

"Forever Pine Tree~"

I rolled him off my lap and onto the couch. I roughly kissed him. He needed to know I meant it. His lips pressed against mine, surprising me at his sudden action.

"Pine Tree you do awful things to me," I spoke in a deep tone.

I watched him as he gulped slightly. I smirked deviously. He really did do awful things to me.

"Your ears, so soft. Your eyes, so bright. Your heart, so strong. But you Pine Tree, you're so innocent. I want to ruin that innocence." I whispered the last part in his ear.

His eyes widened slightly and he gasped. I chuckled deeply. Pine Tree would have sweet dreams tonight, only they wouldn't be dreams.

"I'll do it," he spoke softly into my ear.

Pine Tree lay behind me in bed. His arm was wrapped around my waist while the other was tangled in my hair. It felt amazing.

"What?" I questioned in surprise.

"I'll become immortal. I will stay with you. For eternity."

My eyes widened in delight. I turned to face him. His eyes were sad.

"Why so sad?" I asked. I thought he would be happy to stay with me forever.

"I'm not sad it's just.. I'll never see Mabel again or Stan and Wendy."

"Pine Tree you can still see them now. You will see them until the day they pass on. And that is not for a while."

His eyes brightened a little bit. Leaning forward he kissed me softly and I smiled.

"Can we at least wait till I'm eighteen? I want to wait until my antlers grow more."

"Always about your looks huh Pine Tree?" I chuckled.

"Yeah right! You're the one who always gets mad when I ruin your tailcoat or your shoes."

"Those are expensive! Besides I still can't get your blood stain out of my coat!"

"Well sorry. I wasn't trying to cough blood everywhere."

"It's okay Pine Tree," I said pulling him close to me, "it's okay."
