Bill's POV

I watched him closely through the binoculars. He was quite the specimen. A real Cervitaur (a human-deer hybrid). And the only one I'd ever seen. This town was full of Monsters and even a few humans, but this was the first Cervitaur I'd ever seen.

I'd been tracking him for days now. Watching his every move. He didn't leave the Mystery shack very often and when he did he was always accompanied by another. I was afraid I would never get him alone. Never getting the chance to strike.

I could only see him through the window now. His antlers were a good size but wouldn't do much damage if he were to use them in defense. He even had spots still lingering upon his back. Only a fawn. He'd make the perfect pet and maybe even the perfect mount.

Satisfied with my work for today I headed home. Tomorrow would be the day. I could feel it in my nonexistent heart. Tomorrow I'd get him and he'd be mine forever. My little pet.

Dipper's POV (the next day)

"Hi Wendy," I said, as she walked into the shop.

"Hey Dipper," she said scratching behind her ear with her back leg.

Walking up to me she rubbed my ear before counting the money in the cash register. I almost let out a purr, but stopped myself from emitting such a sound.

"Diiiippppeeer! Dip Dip! Bro Bro! Sir Dipping sauce! Uh Dipper!" Mabel yelled from outside.

I trotted outside finding Mabel in her small pond Soos had made for her. She was swimming in circles waiting for me to come over.

"Yeah?" I asked stopping a few feet clear of the water. Mabel always found a way to splash me even though she knew I hated it.

"Can you take me inside?"

"Can't you just have Grunkle Stan do it?" I asked already onto her trick. She wasn't getting me wet. Not today!

She gave me the puppy dog eyes and a pouty lip. I rolled my eyes giving in. I walked closer and reached out to her. Picking her up I placed her on my deer back with her tail hanging over the side.

"Dipper I'm slipping!" She yelled before grabbing my antlers, and tugging me into the water with her.

I gasped for air before falling underwater. Resurfacing I looked towards an embarrassed Mabel. I grunted annoyed with her.

"Dipper I'm really sorry," she said looking at me.

"It's fine," I sighed angrily, "can you please have Grunkle Stan do it?"

She nodded and continued swimming in circles. Meanwhile I walked around to the other side of the shack eager to rinse off all the salt water.

It just had to be salt water. Mabel hated freshwater. She said it made her scales all wrinkly, and I do not need to see that.

I turned the knob, and let the cold water run down my legs. I jumped slightly. It was much colder than Mabel's water. And considering it was the almost winter it did not feel very great.

Taking the hose I brought it up to my shoulder, and neared my back. Uh it's so cold.

My ears suddenly flicked upward. I looked towards the forest not far from where I stood. Hmmm.
