Remember that one time I said the end was coming soon, but then I decided to write like 6 more chapters?! Yeah I remember that too. This time though, the book is really ending soon. I'm thinking about writing until chapter 30, not including the epilogue of course.

For those of you that stuck with me this far, I really want to thank you so much! Reading your comments and seeing you guys like this story makes me so happy. Now enough of me blabbering on. Enjoy the chapter!~

Bill's POV

"Pine Tree! Wake up!"

This was the third nightmare he'd had this week, and each time the results got worse. I shook him again, hoping to wake him, but he only continued thrashing around and screaming.

"PINE TREE WAKE UP!" I yelled louder.

He finally opened his eyes. His pupils were dilated and his forehead was covered in sweat. I pulled him close to me, not bothering to ask what it was about. I knew it was about Tad. Ever since he'd been captured he had reoccurring nightmares and each ended with him and the twins dying.

"B-Bill I'm sorry," he cried into my chest.

"Why are you sorry?" I asked confused.

"I-I'm so emotional. I s-shouldn't have waken y-you a-"

"Shhhh. Pine Tree it's fine."

I cradled him in my arms like a baby. To me he was my baby. One of his arms was wrapped around me while the other was around his stomach.

It had grown even more. There were only two months left until he'd have the babies. I rubbed his stomach softly.

"Pine Tree I can fix this. Just let me-"

"No Bill. I want to handle it by myself."

I sighed and nodded slightly. His low sniffles subsided, as I continued to rub his back. After a few moments his low snores were the only noise in the room.

Laying him back onto his pillow, I still held onto him. He was such a fragile boy, so when I entered his mind my only intent was to help him.

Dipper's POV

Yawning I stood up from the bed, and waddled my way towards the kitchen. A pile of pancakes sat at the table while Bill was hovering over the stove with a cookbook.

"What are you trying to make now?" I asked noticing the dishes lying everywhere.

"Spaghetti?" I asked holding up the book.

He nodded, and I sat at the table. Licking my lips, I dug into the plate hungrily. I guess I hadn't realized how hungry I was.

"Slow down there or you're going to choke!" Bill yelled not bothering to turn around.

My stomach grumbled, so I continued eating at my fast pace. Bill finally turned around and gave me a stern look. I shrugged my shoulders at his expression.

"More please," I said holding out my plate.

"More? You already had six!"

"I'm still hungry," I whined.

"Alright but only two more."

I nodded eagerly, and watched as Bill made two more pancakes. He even flipped them in the pan. Making pancakes had become an acquired skill for him since he loves them so much.

Bill set down another plate in front of me. This time I ate slower, but halfway through the first bite I started to feel nauseous.

Oh no.

I quickly covered my mouth and dashed to the bathroom. Emptying the contents of my stomach, I sat there clutching the toilet bowl. A hand rubbed circles on my back, letting me calm down.

Wiping my mouth I took my toothbrush and began brushing my teeth. I don't need Bill making fun of me again.

"Oh Pine Tree it was just a joke!" Bill laughed.

I rolled my eyes and continued brushing. After a good minute or two I rinsed and returned my toothbrush to its place.

Walking back into the kitchen I cleaned up my plate, as Bill wandered in aimlessly. He walked up to me and took everything from my hands.

"You should take a nap. You didn't get much sleep last night."

"But I only just woke up," I said watching Bill wash the dishes.

"Nap," was all he said pointing to the doorway.

I grunted, and left Bill to his cleaning. Rolling into our bed I closed my eye. I didn't realize how tired I was, or how quickly I would find sleep.

Bill's POV

After his nightmare last night Pine Tree seemed really tired. I thought that if he slept during the day maybe he wouldn't be tormented, but even then his nightmares couldn't leave him alone.

Hearing him call my name, I walked into our bedroom. Again, he was squirming in bed yelling out.

"I'm sorry Pine Tree, but I have to do this."

Channeling my energy I went into his mind. I was outside a small cabin, much like the one I'd first taken him to. Even from outside I could hear him screaming in pain.

Running inside, I stayed hidden within the shadows. He was stuck reliving his torture. Another version of Tad stood before him poring acid into his eyes.

I snapped my fingers, unable to watch anymore. Pine Tree now lay on the floor in his Cervitaur form. I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him tightly. His body tensed before he realized it was me.

"Bill," he croaked, "I told you to let me do it on my own."

"I know Pine Tree, but I couldn't bare the sight of you being tormented all over again."

I pulled him away from my chest to look into his eyes.

"I'll always be there for you Pine Tree. Even when you think I'm gone. Even when you feel alone. I'm always thinking of you. My sweet, sweet Pine Tree."

Snapping my fingers again, we teleported to a small meadow. I left Pine Tree to sit and eat flowers. The happy gleam had returned to his eyes. I smiled knowing my work was done.

Slowly, I faded from Pine Tree's dream and into reality. He was sound asleep beside me and snoring loudly. I kissed his forehead, and left him to sleep.

Now I just had to finish making him spaghetti. It was a lot harder than I'd originally thought. The first time it turned out-- you'll never guess-- purple. I was determined to get it right, and just for my Pine Tree.
