TORI

I wake with Steve's arms wrapped around me. I smile, gently brushing his tousled blond locks back out of his face. He stirs a little bit, but a grin spreads across his soft lips as he sleeps. I'm tempted to kiss him awake, but I'm not that evil. He and Bucky were up for God only knows how long last night, so I don't want to even know how long he's been asleep.

I carefully escape from his grasp, pulling myself out of bed. I flip my phone over on the night stand, glancing at the date and time — 8:30am, one day away from the wedding. Bucky's been here for a while now, and the stress and anxiety levels are rising high. I quickly flip it back over, heading towards the bathroom. I brush my hair behind my shoulders, getting it out of my face to begin my day.

We don't have any plans today, so yeah, I have way more than enough time to get ready.

I start the shower, ripping off my t-shirt and shorts. The steam fills the room, the door being closed so it doesn't have a way to get out. I hop in and quickly wash my hair and do everything else. As I wrap a towel around my wet body, I hear heavy footsteps coming from the bedroom. There's eventually a knock at the door.

"Come in, Steve," I call, putting my damp hair up in a towel.

The door opens, revealing more than just a sleepy Steve. He looks like he's about to just pass out on the floor right now.

I purse my lips, crossing my arms. "When did you come to bed?" I ask him, tapping my foot against the title floor.

"Three," he groans, rubbing his eyes.

I just laugh, setting my hand on his shoulder to direct him to the bed. He more than gratefully flops back into it, burying his face into the pillow. I ruffle his hair and walk towards the closet.

"Thank you," Steve mumbles sleepily through the pillow.

"Uh-huh," I reply, closing the closet door behind me. I take out a green jacket, a loose fitting white shirt, and a pair of jeans, throwing them all on. By the time I've put makeup on and have done my hair Steve is passed out on the bed, snores emitting from between his parted lips. I smile, stepping out of our room and closing the door quietly behind me.

I'm greeted by a ray of light flashing across my vision from one of the large windows in the main area. Small birds tweet as they zip past, adding to the peaceful feeling of spring morning. The first thing I do is make a cup of coffee then get on my laptop. I click through the multiple tabs, making sure that everything is still correct and ready to go for the big day tomorrow. Steve has already told me countless times that he's received calls and emails telling him that everything is ready, but I still want to see it for myself.

A few minutes later, I hear our bedroom door open with heavy footsteps coming closer and louder. Soon Steve is in the living room, his hair tousled and a sleepy smile on his face.

"Morning, Sleeping Beauty," I chime, grinning without looking back up at him. "Thought you would need more sleep than that."

Out of the corner of my eye, I see him rolling his eyes. "You don't seem to know how long it takes you to get ready in the morning," he mumbles huskily, running his fingers through his hair. He plops onto the sofa next to me, peering at the laptop screen. He sets his chin on my shoulder and gazes up at me with his wide baby blue orbs.

I giggle, ruffling his blond locks. He smiles back in return, but his eyes just scan the screen cautiously.

"Still worried?" he asks me, putting a muscular arm around me.

I just sigh, closing the laptop. "Of course I am, Steve. It's tomorrow and everything just seems so chaotic."

"You're making it chaotic, bridezilla," he remarks. "Calm down a little."
