We're almost at 1K!!! Also, I was supposed to end this book on Valentine's day (Tomorrow) but I have way too many ideas for it so should I continue? If I do I'll still update every day just a thought, though. Let me know what yall think. This chapter is going to be split into 2 chapters because it's already pretty late and I don't want to miss today's update trying to add more when I can break it into two. BTW photos of the cast coming soon but if you have any suggestions send them my way until then Enjoy!

Braelin POV

"Wake up sis!" Sam said shaking me roughly and I groaned in annoyance before opening my eyes to see him standing there in his PJ's with a smile on his face.

"What?"

"Happy birthday Braelin!" He yelled happily before tackling me on the bed and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Thanks, now just let me up and we can head for breakfast okay?"

"Nope."

"What do you mean 'Nope?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest.

"Bring it in Lorenzo!" The door swung open before Lorenzo and my mom entered, her holding a tray with food and him holding three boxes wrapped to perfecting in wrapping paper. Immediately they broke into the cliche happy birthday song and I grinned happily before blowing out the candle that rested on my birthday pancake.

"How does it feel to be 18 Braelin?" Sam asked and I shrugged not feeling any different.

"I feel the same as I did yesterday when I was 17."

"Can I have some of your pancakes then? I'm hungry," he complained before my mom smacked him in the back of his head.

"Your pancakes are downstairs."

"But Braelin's are better," he complained and I rolled my eyes before patting the seat beside mine to which he rushed over and took. I put the plate of food on his lap before taking the biggest gift and opening it first.

"That one is from me," Sam muttered through the food he was munching on. In the box was an art kit with more than enough materials for me to be good for the rest of the year.

"Thanks, Sammy," I said giving him a hug and he groaned in protest before finally hugging me back and muttering 'No problem sis'.

"Alright next." Grabbing the medium sized box, I unwrapped it and was left in awe when I saw what was in front of me. A solid gold locket in the shape of a heart laid in the box and I lifted it up carefully before opening it. Inside the locket there was a photo of him with the engraving 'Always in our hearts, never forgotten.' It had been a while since the thought of him had crossed my mind but with his picture staring me in my face I couldn't help but shed a few tears. God, I missed him. He had gorgeous black hair that he kept short with sparkling hazel eyes like mine. His skin was a sweet caramel and he was at least six foot even. He was perfect. Unable to control my emotions I slid off the bed and pulled my mom into a hug forgetting about everything she had done in the past.

"I miss him too," she mumbled patting my head soothingly before I used the bottom of my undershirt to wipe my tears.

"Something must be in my eyes," I joked before taking the locket and clipping it on, throwing my hair over the chair. "Alright last one."

"This one is from me although I did get a little help from a friend," he said with a grin and I raised an eyebrow slightly before opening his gift and I swear to you my eyes had jumped out of its sockets and started rolling on the floor because in front of me was keys to a car. Not any car. A BMW.
