We walked inside Chris' house and I looked around, a smile making its way onto my face. I had missed him terribly, more than he could ever know. I removed my shoes and I heard him shrugging out of the jacket he almost always wore, letting it fall in a messy pile on the ground.

"So I guess you have to be my bodyguard for tonight then?" I asked with a small giggle. He chuckled and kissed me again, making my giggling instantly stop as my heart skipped a beat. I would usually think nothing of the kiss, I would just continue laughing, but being separate from Chris, no matter how short the time, had made me put things in a completely different perspective. I had lost him in the blink of an eye, and been lucky enough to gain him back. I wouldn't take advantage of what we had this time, I would treasure all the time we had together, because a part of me had seen how I had to mature to begin getting over the heartbreak he caused me. I had changed because of what he did to me; I felt almost, more grown up. My naïveté had lost some of it's effectiveness.

When he stopped kissing me I wrapped my arms around his neck.

"Does Blake even know where you live?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Not that I know of... He shouldn't, at least. That'd be a bit creepy." Chris said with a nervous laugh. I smiled at him and then released him from my tight hold, walking towards the kitchen.

"What are you doing?" Chris called out, sounding a bit confused.

"Well Mr. Bodyguard, you took me out of school before school ended, and now is the time that it is officially ending. Therefore I need a snack." I said, sitting on the counter and staring at him as he walked into the kitchen.

"So you're saying because you're officially out of school for the day that requires you to have a snack..." He said slowly, as if trying to make sense of it.

"Yup." I said happily, swinging my legs back and forth slightly.

"That makes no sense at all." He complained. I glared at him.

"Well I'm hungry." I whined. He stuck his tongue out at me childishly and I laughed again causing him to blush. I hadn't laughed this much since before I met Blake.

"I don't have any snacks Lana. Sorry." He said after a moment of looking through his fridge. I rolled my eyes.

"Chris, I know you. You probably have a giant stash of snacks hidden somewhere." I said with a laugh. He glared at me and went into a cupboard, bringing out a bunch of snacks and sitting them on the counter. I smirked at him. "Told ya." I said pointedly. He ignored me and I just stared at him unconsciously. I was so lucky that he had taken me back.

I sat on the couch with Chris as he flipped through channels, trying to find something to watch. When he found nothing he settled on a random channel, but the volume was so low that I didn't really notice it.

"I've been wondering..." He began, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.

"Hm?" I asked absentmindedly, not opening my eyes as I rested against his chest. I felt him take a deep breath.

"Don't be mad at me for this, I'm just curious. Did you and Blake... How far did things get?" He asked hurriedly.

"How do you even know about that first of all?" I asked, finally looking up at him to see him staring right back at me.

"I saw you two in the hallway a few days ago. When I saw you kiss him first and wrap your arms around him... It looked pretty real to me and I couldn't help but think you actually liked him." He admitted, finally glancing away from me as he stared instead at the TV.
