Later that night, we had moved all of the furniture and other essential things into the house and unpacked them. There were still a few boxes left to unpack, but they wouldn't take long. I took a shower and crawled into bed with Chris, who smiled and wrapped his arm around me, pulling me to his chest and kissing me softly. I kissed him back softly before pulling away and gently placing my hands on his chest.

"What?" He asked, noticing my expression.

"So...you're gonna be a singer," I said slowly, glancing up at him. He raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, what about it?" He asked nonchalantly.

"You're gonna go on tours, and be busy a lot." I reminded him.

"You don't know that. Maybe people won't even like me," he chuckled. I stared at him pointedly and he gave in. "Okay, yeah. Probably a lot of tours and traveling. Is this about jealousy?" He asked unsurely. I shrugged and he chuckled, pulling me back into his chest.

"Where you go, I go. Remember that Lana," he whispered softly. I smiled when he called me that and kissed him again.

I hope he's right.

"Okay, I think I got it," Chris was saying as Michael showed him how the studio worked. It had been three months now, and he was about to start recording. He hadn't gotten much publicity yet, but I knew he would after this song was out. He wouldn't tell me what it was, but he promised me it would be good. I was shocked at how fast he had caught up with what Michael had shown him so far. I just worried about Chris too much.

"I gotta go," Michael said, putting his phone in his pocket and standing up. I watched as he left and shut the door behind him.

"Come here babe," Chris said, gently grabbing my wrist and pulling me onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and I busied myself by tracing over his tattoos.

"Now tell me what's really wrong," he whispered, his lips brushing over my ear. I just shrugged, and I felt him pull me closer. "Look at me," he mumbled, gently turning my head so I was facing him.

"It's nothing," I said quickly, but it was hard to lie to him when his eyes were inches from mine.

"It's obviously something," he countered, staring at me firmly.

"No, it's really nothing. I just worry too much. I don't like change, and...this was a big change. I'll get over it," I said reassuringly. He smiled and his lips met mine, making my worries ebb away. He kissed me deeply, his hands cupping my face as he turned me more on his lap so I was fully facing him.

"You don't need to worry about anything. I'm always gonna be the same person inside," he whispered when we finally pulled apart. I smiled and blushed, nodding shamefully.

"I know. I'm sorry, it was stupid for me to worry."

"No it wasn't," he said with a smile, pecking my lips again. "Maybe I can make you feel better tonight," he teased with a wink. I playfully rolled my eyes.

"I thought you had to stay at the studio tonight," I reminded him. He smirked slyly.

"I do, but I have the song mostly wrapped up. And I'll be all alone...so you can stay with me. I'll get lonely," he pouted. I smiled and kissed him one more time before getting off his lap.

"I'll see what I can do," I said with a wink, grabbing my purse.

"Where are you going?" He asked, quickly standing up.

"To get food. Want me to bring you back some?" He shrugged and sat back down. I guess that's a yes.
