|Car Wreck|

*sorry this is so late*

His POV

Y/n and I were driving home from a movie. We were on the highway just cruising. I held her hand as I drove.

"Thanks. For tonight." She said

"You're welcome babe."

"I love you." She said looking at me

"I-"

"Watch out!" She screamed

I looked to my right and I saw a truck. Then everything went black

I woke up to a bright light. Once my vision cleared up I realized I was in the hospital. I remember everything.

I look to my left and see a nurse. She looked like she had been crying.

"What's going on?" I said in a whisper

My head was absolutely throbbing and I felt a blanket wrapped around my legs

"Just calm down." She said putting one hand on my forearm and one hand on my shoulder

I eased back in the bed and looked at her

"You know Y/n?"

I nodded my head

"Well in the accident. The ambulance found you knocked out unconscious and found that y/n had been knocked out as well. They rushed you two to the hospital but when they got her hooked up to the monitors. She was gone."

She was gone.

It rang through my head a couple times to realize that I just lost my girlfriend. I lost the only thing good that happened to me. I lost my best friend.

I couldn't believe it. My body felt numb and I didn't know what to think. Or say.

They let me out of the hospital 2 days later.

I probably cried for a week straight. I lost my girlfriend and I couldn't do anything about it.

I called her phone just to hear her voice one more time.

It rang 5 times.

"Hello! You've reached y/n. Sorry I'm not available right now. Have a good day."

I broke down in my room crying.
Y/n was always so positive.

She was my best friend, girlfriend, soul mate.

And I'm never going to get her back.
