Sense I can't drive and no one was home, I had to take the bus to the library. Yay....
I grabbed money out of my jar, got my rain jacket and vans on and I headed to the nearest bus stop. I sat on the bench and waited for the bus. I waited for 10 minutes until it came, which was nice

"How much will it be for a ride to McNally Robinson?" (A bookstore a little while from where I live in real life)

"$10."

I handed him the money and sat down. I started out the window. The bus stopping to pick up some people every now and then. I then felt someone plop down beside me. I looked at who it was and it was some guy around my age.

"Hi." He said

"Hi." I said back

I was confused why he sat beside me but I just let it leave my mind.

"Where are you heading?" He said with a smile

"To a bookstore." I stated

I didn't really want to talk to him. But I had to admit, he was really cute

"Which one?"

"McNally Robinson."

"Really? Me too."

"Interesting. What kind of books do you read?" Something about him just intrigued me. I felt like I've known him for a while, yet I just met him

"A little bit of everything."

The convo just kept going from there. We talk about everything book related. It was fun yet strange all at the same time. I found out that his name was c/n

We got off the bus and into the bookstore. I headed straight upstairs. That's where all the books that I like are.

After a couple minutes I saw a book pop out of no where

"Jeez you scared me. Wait is that.."

"Yup." He said putting it in my hands.

It was a book that I have been trying to find for the longest time

"Where did you find it?"

"By the cookbooks."

"Wait really? I've looked everywhere and it was by the cook books?"

"You could've gotten help by one of the employees."

"I didn't tell you I was smart." I said rolling my eyes

He just laughed

"How much is it?"

"45 dollars."

"Oh. I don't have enough. I guess we'll just have to put it back."

"I can get it for you." He said like it was no big deal

"No I can't let you do that. It's expensive."

"No I insist."

He didn't listen to me. He went right up to the cashier and paid for it

"Seriously. You didn't have to do that."

"I wanted to. But can I ask you one more thing?"

"Sure." I said shrugging my shoulders

He got really close to me and whispered

"Will you be my girlfriend?"
