Your POV

It's funny how things turn out in life. Like, we never know what's gonna happen, or who we meet

When the bell rang for lunch, we all grabbed our lunch and all sat at our usual spot

I felt my best friend nudge my arm

"Hey y/n, are you going to the basketball game?" She whispered

"I don't know. I wasn't planning, why?" I whispered back

"I've heard that c/n has a thing for you and that I think you should totally go."

"Where did you hear that?"

"Well his sister told her friend who is Stacy(some random chick) and she told me. It's totally legit."

"Really?? What time is the game?"

"Right after school."

"Perfect."

I made sure I looked good for this game. I made sure my hair was still good, touched up my makeup. I wanted to look good for him. I mean who doesn't want to look good for their crush. We sat on the stage but at the end where your feet dangle off the edge

The game started. C/n was on first. He made a lot of baskets. I could have sworn every time he made a basket he looked at me. It made me blush every time. When the game was over my friends ditched me to go with their boyfriends. Everyone had a boyfriend except me. Oh well.

The game ended. They won 35-12! I was at my locker, I forgot some stuff. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turn and see c/n!

"What are you doing here?" I said getting my stuff and shutting my locker

"I just wanted to see how you were doing."

"Oh I'm good thanks. Congrats by the way."

"Thanks, Hey I was wondering if you wanted to go get ice cream with me or something?"

"Sure!"

He grabbed my hand and made me follow him to his car. He opened the door for me like a gentle man and we drove off to the ice cream shop

We got there, got our ice cream and sat outside on one of the benches

"I just wanted you to know..." he started

"I wanted you to know that I think you are one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen. And I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"

I was like a party inside, fireworks, rainbows, you name it. But of course I played my cool. I just smiled really big and shook my head yes. He kissed me on the forehead and I put my head on his shoulder. It was magical!
