I here my phone vibrate on my desk. I pick it up and press the green button and hold it up to my ear
"Hello?"
"Hey Y/n, how are you?"
I immediately knew it was my best friend
"Good. What's up?"
"There's a carnival on Saturday and was wondering if you wanted to go with me."
"Sure what time?"
"1 o'clock and meet me on the end of the pier."
"Ok see you then."
She hangs up without saying bye. She usually does that. She's weird but I love her anyway
Before I know it, it's Saturday
I wake up and check my phone. There were at least 12 texts from b/f/n (Best friends name)
B/f/n: Hey I can't wait for today!
B/f/n: What should I wear?
B/f/n: Something more revealing or something casual?
B/f/n: You know what why don't I just surprise you
B/f/n: But I guess you wouldn't care what I would wear
B/f/n: Y/n?
B/f/n: You know what forget it
That pretty much sums it up. I text her back and I just tell her to wear whatever she wants
