His POV
Y/n and I were coming back from school. I knew that I needed to tell her and I had to do it now. As I signal left I sigh deeply. We get into the driveway, unbuckle and I turn to her
"Y/n we need to talk."
"Is something wrong?" She turns her body towards me
"I'm just going to say it. I know I'm not the right guy for you. There is a guy out there who can treat you so much better than I can. Don't get me wrong, you are an amazing girl and anyone would be lucky to have you. I just feel like I can't keep on saying those three empty words."
She just sat there kinda stunned. She sat back and I could see her eyes watering
"Could you drive me home please?"
I don't say anything and do what she asked. It was silent except I could tell that Y/n was quietly sobbing. I hated to see her this way but I know I'm not the right guy for her. I had to do this for our own good.
We pull into her driveway and she unbuckles
"Thanks for being honest. That's one of the things I have always loved about you. See you." She says with tear stains on her cheeks
She gets out of the car and into her house. I drive home and find myself with tears running down my eyes
I will always love her
