What is love supposed to mean, anyway?

In today's society every one who is crushing into a new relationship with someone is in such a desperate want of showing other people, of showing the world to make himself feel some kind of special. Why do we need to give ourselves into public? Is it all about the attention we do not get from somewhere else?

In the consequence of 'giving us away' we get confronted with objective views. These views should not disturb or even destroy our private life. Are we not able to turn things subjective?

I sometimes miss the feeling of being loved from somebody who does not get influenced by public. If we all have an impact of what society turns up and suspects us do to we insist on cliches and steady 'relationship goals'. What is the exact meaning behind it? I mean, where is the comprehension hidden?

To love someone is a subjective way. It is always a different cup of tea to a human being. But tell me, how do I cope with social media? How do I get along with things I am used to see but never get aware of it? Do not let us develop our anxieties just because one does not have the same intentions as ten persons have. I pursue to feel free and independent. I want to live in that moment and say to my loved one "I love you" without anyone knowing 30 seconds after it on Instagram or Snapchat. With letting the public know, I might be asking myself if I fell in love with my boyfriend or with my curiosity of those reactions on social media.

Love is strong. If you feel this intensity, keep it to yourself and be proud.

Social media could change that.
