To Be Naive

One day there will be a time determined particularly for you, to live your life as much as you have always wanted to fully enjoy it, with every aspect to refill your lungs with not only happiness but with everything in-between to keep the small things locked in and not out of you. Whether it is destiny or as one can call it only "luck" or "coincidence", it may effect you until the very last breath of yours.

One might say this view is wide-eyed or even unsophisticated. But why not listen/read more and talk less? This view definitely is one-pointed, very objective and not trustworthy. As a matter of fact, I bet less than half of the readers were nodding their head while reading the paragraph above because they have already experienced their "destiny". But more than half of them were nodding their head because they wish rather than believe that some day this kind of destiny will appear to them. I wonder about the small amount of readers who were shaking their heads. Obviously, that part we know as "pessimistic" or "negative-minded". This should not be said in a rude kind of way but what is so wrong about being optimistic? One can do no harm when expecting the most favourable outcome, one can only do harm when not seeing the reason to do so anymore.

What I want to mention here, is the development of naiveté and how we get used to it. I am not proud of being naive in so many different aspects though it has its benefits. The one big reason why not to turn your back at optimism/naiveté: self-confidence. And please don't say you don't have one. Every time we get hurt from someone/something because we expected too much again, we take this as a great loss but we also take it as a new part of learning, a new part of our chapter. Without optimism, you wouldn't be so confident and vice versa. So think about being naive. Would this lay in the middle of the whole plot?
