Breakfast and Busy Days

I woke up to the sun shining through my curtains. For a second, I couldn't remember where I was. Glancing around, my surroundings became familiar as I awoke. "Huh. So this part wasn't a dream." I muttered to my pillow. I slowly sat up and stretched. Throwing my legs out of the warm cocoon I built, I shuffled to the bathroom to shower and start the day. The shower woke me up in no time and I floated out, feeling refreshed, in a cloud of steam. Then I bounced to my closet to get ready.

The smell of pancakes and bacon wafted up the stairs to my hungry stomach. I held onto the railing and made my way to the kitchen, my stomach imitating whale mating calls the whole time. "I didn't know we let a whale in the house again." Jensen's voice floated through the hallway and I could hear JJ giggling. "Hardy har har. I'm absolutely starving." I ran a hand through my wet hair, then tried to muffle another whale noise. "The food smells delicious. Thank you for fixing it." I praised. Danneel smiled happily with a spatula in her hand and slid a plate towards me. "Eat up, honey. You've got a big day today." I raised an eyebrow, suspicious. "What's today?" I commented. Danneel and JJ looked at Jensen who had suddenly taken great interest in his plate. I turned my head to him as well. "Jensen?" He snapped his head up to mine and burst out. "Doyouwannagotosetwithmetoday?" I blinked at his outburst and just stared at him. "You're serious?" I questioned. He nodded enthusiastically. I shrugged, pretending to be indifferent. "Sure. Why not?" Although internally, I was absolutely freaking out. I mean come on! This was like a dream come true. I tried to take my time, but the food was so good it was hard to not shovel into my mouth. Once I finished, I speed-walked up to my room and changed then put my face on.

I waved goodbye as Jensen helped me into the black SUV. "Good morning Cliff. How are you?" I happily asked him. He smiled through the rearview and answered back cheerfully, "I'm pretty good. I hope the same can be said for you. Are you excited?" I nodded and then burst. "I'm kinda nervous, to be perfectly honest. I mean, I'm about to be on the set of my all-time favorite show. Plus, most of the actors will be there and ohmygosh this is actually happening to me right now." Cliff just smiled again, "You'll done fine. I'm sure they'll love you. You're a great young lady." I blushed then tried to calm nerves by humming along with the radio.
