his thin pale legs swung back and forth on the high stool, due to his short height he was unable to touch the ground.

his frail bones ached and his skin felt tight each time he moved.

his body had been shaking all week from the malnourishment of his body.

ever since his mother forced him to eat he hasn't eaten since, afraid of gaining the slightest bit of weight possible. he knew it was stupid, but when you spent hours fretting over your own body and how you look you possibly could understand his habits of hating himself.

"why're you here if you aren't gonna eat?" jacob's voice startles troye.

"i want to be," he simply says licking his lips and raising his head. "don't you have a girlfriend to bother?"

jacob sits down on the stool beside him, unlike troye he was able to plant his feet on the floor his height a big factor in this.

"we broke up," he shrugs leaning against the counter.  "are you gonna order anything?" jacob questions a sly smirk playing on his lips, he knew the answer but he wanted to hear it from troye himself.

"no,"

"you need to eat," jacob says the smirk falling from his lips. "you're slowly killing yourself you know?"

troye stayed silent, not uttering a word to jacob.
