jacob
movie: tfios

troye had left jacob's house to go to the church down the road, demanding that jacob brings his eulogy that he had rewritten so many times over the last 2 days when troye had begged him to start writing it. troye only had 3 days left and this was his way of letting go.

jacob paced his room, a hand running through his thick locks that were tangled. he was waiting for the clock to chime on exactly 6:30pm which was the time troye had told him to meet him at the church.

"jacob honey, sit down," his mother softly says. "please eat something," his mother pleads sending him a worried look.

jacob turns around, "no troye needs me," he snaps.

his mother doesn't say another word, she just lefts him walk out the door, his eulogy clutched tightly in his hand.

"took you long enough," troye grins up at him, jacob's heart ached once he realized it would be a short while before he ever saw it again.

jacob captures his lips in a chaste kiss, running a hand down his dainty wrist and linking their hands together.

"so what do you got for me today?" troye questions looking down at jacob's free hand.

"your eulogy," he whispers softly his fingers tracing over his bony knuckles.

"get up there and read me it,"

jacob walks to the podium, his heart beating loudly in his ears as he read over the words.

clearing his throat he then starts to speak, "troye sivan mellet was the man who i fell in love with. we didn't have a great story like hazel and gus, but ours is pretty close," he chuckles feeling the tears start to rise as she looked troye. "not many people sitting in this room know troye like i do, they don't know he's stubborn as hell-,"

"i am not!" he interjects his voice slightly raised as a giggle falls from his lips.

"he also is an interrupting bastard. i'm giving a eulogy don't do that," he glares at troye playfully. jacob wets his lips before continuing on, "troye didn't know this and i know he's going to deny it even when he's gone, but damn was that boy beautiful. he walked into a room and you couldn't help but stare at him," jacob gushes fanning himself a smile on his lips as he watches the blush coat his cheeks.

"and then everyone starts laughing while i cry and choke back sobs," he says flipping over the page. he rest his hands on his chin. "not every book ends on a happy ending, the character dies or something horrible happens. our story isn't ending tragically or beautifully. he'd have to do a romeo on me for that," jacob lets out a soft giggle as he felt something wet fall down his face.

"but of course this isn't a book, its reality and we have to realize not all endings will end happily," jacob couldn't continue as the sobs fell from his lips. troye walks up the podium wrapping his arms around his body.

"it's okay, let it out,"
