jacob

it's been four days, four days and still no sign of life in the ocean eyed boy. his skin was paler than usual, his veins now a harsh purple and blue.

jacob wanted him to wake up, but at the same time he knew that once he opened his eyes they soon would be closed again.

he hardly knew the boy, yet here he was in so much pain he practically couldn't breathe. his thoughts were all over the place and his smile he used to wear now was gone replaced by frown.

the beeping of his heart monitor was the only sound that seemed to occupy the room and his thoughts.

his hearts gonna stop.

jacob tried to push that thought away, forcing it to the back of his brain as far as he could.

four days and his parents still haven't showed up. he was starting to think they didn't care about their son or is safety which seemed like it because of where he was at right now.

the tube that was helping him breath was replaced by an oxygen mask, that made more noise than his heart monitor. jacob tried to not focus on those sounds.

"please wake up," he whispers his hand tightly gripping troye's cold, and lifeless one. jacob had ran out of tears after day three, finding it hard to cry. but right now watching troye struggle to breath on his own made the tears start to form but they didn't fall.

troye's hand squeezes his which makes jacob jolt away. he wasn't awake though, his body was just responding to the touch.
