I got one of those letters in the mail from potential schools, of course my nosey mom opened it. It wasn't a college letter. It was an early college letter. The letter came from a school we have never heard about, Early College High School at Delaware State University

Basically, when we first heard about it, we learned that i could get my bachelor's degree by the time I graduated high school. My mother jumped at the opportunity. I didn't want to go and leave my friends and Devon. I wanted to go to Dover High School where it was all hood. Even though i didn't want to to leave my friends, I wanted to leave to go to Dover. They were getting a new building which was bigger and better than any other schools in the state of Delaware.

Yes, that's the actual school. There's more behind it like the track, football field, baseball etc. i knew I wouldn't have a problem making new friends at this big school.

i tried to fail the rest of my 8th grade year so i didn't get accepted to ECHS. Unfortunately, that didn't work out. I begged Riana, J'kya, and Devon to also go to ECHS, but they wanted to stay at LF. asslickers
This was actually a good move for me in the end because I learned that you need to move on from people to do better in life. To this day, I really don't talk to any of my middle school friends because they think i'm boujee and shit. Nah, I just moved on to better things. Good thing my mom was looking out for me because I would've been stuck at LF wit everyone else.
