Moonbeam's POV
The walk to the castle was longer than I thought it would be. I was trying to walk silently but I had so many questions running through my head that I couldn't stop them from leaving my mouth.
"So, is my name actually Moonbeam or...?" I looked at Eric and he smiled at me.
"Well, your birth name is actually Lunella but the people that took you must have changed your name to hide you. However, Luna is moon in Latin so maybe that's where they got the first part of your name." I nodded and looked at the sky, thinking about what he just told me.
"Do we have any other siblings?" I'd always wanted a younger sibling, even though I used to have Jasmine. I always felt like having a way younger sibling would be cooler than having someone only a few years younger.
"Well, to be totally honest, Mom and Dad kind of gave up hope that we would ever find you. I know that's not what I said earlier but I didn't want to hurt your feelings. Anyways, they gave up a few years ago and wanted to try for another kid so they did, which resulted in our younger brother Jake. He's 5 years old but he knows about you. Tyler and I always told him about you even though Mom and Dad didn't want us to. So he knows he has an older sister but he doesn't know what you look like or anything because we didn't really know any of that obviously."
"So Jake is our younger brother...AWESOME! Wait, who is Tyler?" I was excited about meeting everyone soon but a little sad that they would only be shocked to see that I wasn't dead.
"Oh, sorry. I forgot that you don't know everyone yet. Tyler is our older brother. He is a year older than me so he is 20. " I nodded in understanding.
"Okay. Recap, I have three brothers-Jake, who is 5 years old, you are 19 years old, and Tyler, who is 20. My parents, the King and Queen of werewolves, think I'm dead and my real name is Lunella."
"Exactly!" He said, happy that I understood everything.
I was about to ask another question but stopped when we finally came out of the forest and a large castle was in front of me. It was absolutely beautiful and I understood why it need to be so far from civilization. It was huge! (A/N: Picture of the castle on the side)
When we got to about 40 feet from the castle, 20 more wolves came out of nowhere and lined up side by side to keep us from going any further.
"Stand down. These are no ordinary wolves, this is the long lost princess and her pack." The wolves instantly bowed and parted to let us through. We kept walking but Eric stopped to tell one of the wolves something before continuing on. I shrugged it off and didn't bother asking what he told the wolf.
Two guards opened the big marble doors and bowed as we passed through the doors. We walked through many halls before coming to a stop in front of another set of marble doors. Eric turned to me and put his hands on my shoulders.
"Okay, behind these doors lies the ballroom. This is where a lot of wolves have come to celebrate Mom's birthday. I'm going to mask your scent and you are going to wait here until I come get you. Your pack can go in but I really need you to stay out here so that I can prepare everyone for your return. Seriously, stay outside these doors until I tell you to come in. Got it?" He stared at me and I stared back before laughing.
"Wow. We've only just been reunited and you are already acting like the commanding older brother." He stood up straight and laughed as well.
"Anyways, yeah, I understand."
"Thanks. Let's do this. It's not going to feel any different but you won't smell like anything until I unmask your scent." He put his hand on my head and chanted.
