Song of the day: All of Me by John Legend (on the side)

----------------------------------------------

Moonbeam's POV

It was misty, no foggy. I couldn't see a foot in front of me. All that I heard was twigs snapping and owls hooting.

Chills crawled up my skin and throughout my body. I looked around trying to see where I was but I still couldn't see anything.

I heard a twig snap on my right and I turned towards the noise. I stood, motionless, waiting for an attack but after several minutes of waiting, nothing happened. I looked around and then looked down when I felt something brush my ankle.

The fog was licking at my ankles, gradually getting higher up my leg. It would pull back and then rise higher, like the tide at the beach.

I tried to back away but it didn't matter. The fog was consistently riding up my legs and soon it had engulfed everything below my waist. I tried to scream, run, mind link someone, anything, but it was all in vain.

The fog had reached my neck and I thought it would make it's way up my face but I was wrong. Instead, the fog became more...tangible, solid and it wrapped around my neck, gripping it so tightly that I could hardly breathe.

All of the other fog dissipated but the hold around my neck still withstood. A man approached me and slowly made his way to me. His blonde hair and extremely blue eyes were prominent and stood out in the moonlight.

My eyes widened as the figure approached, steadily getting closer just as the fog had. I tried to gasp once I saw who the man was but I was low on breath.

"Miss me?" His awful smirk was the last thing I saw before the fog squeezed tighter and my oxygen ran out.

I woke up screaming, tears running down my face. Ryker pulled me to him and whispered sweet nothings in my ear until I calmed down. My screams turned to sobs and my sobs slowly dissipated into silence.

"Hey, hey. What's wrong, Love? What happened?" Ryker looked down at me with worry in his eyes and I shook my head.

"I...I had a nightmare." I whispered and buried myself closer to Ryker.

"What happened in your nightmare?" Ryker asked softly.

"I was walking...I was walking and there was fog, so much fog. I couldn't see anything. I heard something and I turned. I turned but there was nothing there. Then...the fog..." I trailed off thinking about the dream.

"The fog? What happened with the fog?"

"The fog started crawling up my legs and it...it started to wrap around my neck after it had crawled up far enough. And then this man...he..."

"He what?! What?!" I looked up into Ryker's angry eyes and I stared at him while answering his question.

"He asked if I had missed him." I didn't break eye contact with him and I saw that Ryker's eyes turned black as coal as soon as he heard what I said. Ryker paced around the room but I couldn't do anything. Everything began to blur and eventually, it all faded into nothing.

Ryker's POV

She stared up into my eyes. Her eyes were empty, emotionless, almost...dead. When she answered my question, I felt my eyes turn black and my wolf snarled. I stood up quickly and paced the room. My wolf was pissed.

'This wasn't just a dream, Ryker. She was having a vision.' My wolf growled and I stopped pacing. I turned sharply towards the bed and saw Moon sitting in the same position that I left her. She still had same empty look in her eyes.
