chapter 9- its complicated

I woke up and Theo was gone. It felt like a dream everything from when I was at Theo's house a few days ago part of me felt stupid for going back into Theo's arms so quickly but it's complicated we've been through a lot together, my love for him is stronger than my anger. I got out of bed and moved to my closet and grabbed out a simple outfit and changed our of my pajamas into my outfit of the day. Even though Theo and I are on talking terms, I'm still mad at him I just can't control my feelings around him, like I said its completely complicated. I did a simple makeup routine light and quick considering I only had 10 minutes to get out of the house and to school which would require speeding.
I grabbed my bag and keys and jog down the stairs I found odd my parents were out of town for work when neither of their jobs ever require going out of town but I best stay out of it no need really to get involved.
I saw a familiar blue jeep pulling up onto the curb, I smiled and walked over to it hoping in the back I guess I wasn't driving today .
"Aye your alive"
Stiles cheered sarcastically I rolled my eyes, I literally died yesterday and came back alive
"Too soon?"
He asked looking in the rearview mirror raising an eyebrow I laughed and looked out the window
"Is there really a too soon for that situation?"
I asked looking down at my phone no messages or calls from Theo which seemed odd I would assume he would have at least left me a message or something telling meif something happened. The car pulled to a stop, I looked up seeing the high school. I've barely gotten anything done or any sleep in the past week due to all the supernatural bullshit . I hopped our of the window considering his back doors wouldn't open at all now. I shimmied out and patted my shirt down, I jogged up to the guys getting even with them over hearing them talking about a master plan tonight about Hayden and liam something about lurring the doctors to the school
"Um what?"
I asked they both looked at me and begun to tell me they're plan
"Ok so we're just gonna not tell them?"
I asked as we entered the school I was still curious where Theo had gone usually he's at school before me.
"Yeah, we can't get them they're if we were to tell them so our best luck is to make an excuse and get them locked in"
I shook my head and rolled my eyes
"You better hope that works"
I said Scott looked at me with a blank expression "it will work "
He said I nodded and just took his word it was silent as we made our way towards my locker "so um"
I started opening my locker and grabbing my book out
"Have you guys seen Theo or heard from him?"
I asked chewing on the inside of my lip as I shut my locker and turned to them they both looked at me suspiciously
"Not since last night..why?"
Scott asked raising an eyebrow I looked sway adjusting my bag strap, I knew they were suspicious about it , it was obvious.
"Is something going on between you?"
Stiles asked I looked up and shook my head
"No, no...uh its just I havent seen him since last night"
I said shrugging and walking off hearing the bell ring
"Come on, there's something going on.....Mackenzie I know it"
Stiles said pulling me aside
"Stiles I dont wanna talk about its.....its just complicated ...ill see you after school" I said walking around the corner into class.
I tossed my bag over my chair and sat down pulling out a pencil.
The teacher walked in followed by Kira, I was starting to worry instead of wonder where Theo was, he could of just been home today but something seems off ...not right.
Kira sat down next me and shot me a smile
I said hello and she nodded back we decided to talk after class.

I picked up my bag and book and walked out of class Kira right behind me , I walked straight to my locker
"What's wrong ?"
She asked I closed my locker after pulling my math book out,
"Its ....its just I dont know where Theo is and I haven't seen him since last night something's off"
I said leaning against my locker, arms crossed as I chewed on my lip
"Ok, but not being rude, why do you care?"
She asked I looked down for awhile, everything is fucking complicated its unbelievable.
"He stayed with you last night didn't he?"
She ask I kept my head down,
"Yes he did, but its complicated , I'm still mad and weary about it all "
I said beginning to walk Down the hall
"Well just be careful I gotta get to class see you tonght "
She smiled before taking off down the hall disappearing in the crowd I rolled my eyes with a laugh before going down the oopsite hall.

.
I was now over at Scotts house helping him with his "checklist " for tonights plan which I still was on the fence about, I had heard from Theo earlier apparently his mom called him pissed about what happened so he left early in the morning and instead of going to school he got a day of lectures.
And on top of it all , certain bodies have been dissapearing from crime scenes, and the morgue so apparently a chimera was recently killed and Theo along with stiles are gonna watch the body at deatons to see who is taking them.
"Ok the last thing we need is chains....I think I have some down stairs"
Scott said getting up from his squatted position on the floor
"For what?"
I asked sitting on the arm of the chair across from him.
He looked back to me "for liam"
He said walking off down the stairs
"Ok"
I mumbled to myself getting up and grabbing the big bag of stuff he had already filled it was pretty heavy given the fact.
"Ok that's it let's head out "
Scott said lugging a bag over his shoulder that clanked every time he stepped , i followed him out to stiles jeep throwing them in the back
"Now let's get liam and Hayden and head to the school"
Stiles said backing out before I couldget my door closed. I hoped this plan worked they're basing all of this on someone's life, with radio jammer type things laid out through the school, in hopes to save Hayden's life or trap one of them.

We had finally made it to Liam's were we picked everyone up, however now was the tricky part,me and Scott waited until everyone was in to take the chains, liam couldn't know about this or hear them clanking aparrently he's gonna chain them so they won't leave and risk getting taken I guess.
"So that's it?"
I asked as we entered the locker room Scott secretly lying the bag of chains carefully on the ground so they wouldn't alert liam or Hayden.
"Yup"
He whispered, I nodded my hands were getting clamy and I was becoming nervous, they still scared me.
"I hope this works " I mumbled back, I know how Scott gets when someone doubts his plans, you can't blame me last time I almost got slashed by a 9 feet tall beast.
"It will"
He said tubing to me I rolled my eyes and walked over to Lydia helping her push furniture in front of the door
"Wheres Kira?"
I whispered to her she looked up at me and pulled me aside after pushing a big desk against the door
"She's not coming....she is having problems controlling her fox"
She said as I sat on a bench next to her
"Oh, "
I nodded that must be scary.

MIDNIGHT

It was midnight and nothing had happened, we all discretely were given places to take, Parrish guarded the entrance of the school, malia watched the halls, and me, Lydia and Scott watched out for liam and Hayden .
They had fallen asleep an hour ago and Scot successfully chained liam. It felt wrong tho seeing them blinded not knowing what the real plan was,....to use Hayden as bait to catch one.
"This isn't right "
I said walking over to the door peeking out
"No,but its our only way Mackenzie "
Scott warned I shook my head
"It's not using her isn't ok especially to liam"
I whispered , little did I know he was awake listening.
"Your using Hayden as bait?"
Liam's angry voice whispered we both turned around a stared at him not knowing what to say
"No its not like that liam"
Scott said trying to calm him as his eyes begun to turn yellow
"Its exactly like that! You brought us here to "keep her safe" but your just luring them here!"
Liam's voice raged in anger as he yanked at the chains
"You have to trust me, If she wasn't here she'd be at a even higher risk ok?"
Scott said warningly hearing Hayden move around I looked over seeing her eyes opening
"Ok "
Liam whispered back walking over to her
"Babe, I forgot my pills in my locker.."
She mumbled looking down ashamed and embarrassed he nodded and smiled
"I'll go get you guys stay here "
Scott said leaving me and Lydia with the two love birds in the corner ,great. There was something off about this , I couldn't hear malias footsteps anymore or Scotts, maybe they were just too far away.
  Lydia got up and and walked to the door pushing the chairs in front away and walking out
"Lydia?"
I asked walking a few steps, I peered out into the hallway
"Lydia!"
I yelled nothing, then I heard it. The clanking of they're metal suits growing louder and louder
"Liam help me "
I called walking over and taking off the chains around them he rushed over and helped me stack furniture against the door
"You and Hayden hide behind those lockers in the corner and stay quiet, dont move unless I say so"
I called watching them get behind the lockers I backed up from the door seeing them appear and with I small push the furniture flew and the door creeked open , I shielded myself from the flying debri .
   I looked up seeing them in the door those things barely held them off, I flipped my hounds out and lowered my head calling the inner wolf in me out
"Ahhh"
I screamed looking up my eyes a electric blue and my fangs as sharp as knifes,I jumped up kicking one in the face landing on my fist before swiftly laying my claws in the others chest, I froze screaming in pain as I fell the one with the Cane shoved the end into my back sending waves of energy I didn't know existed
"Ahhhhh! Liam get her out of here.....now!!"
I roared feeling endless pain I saw them dart out behind the doctors taking off down a hall.
I growled loudly looking back, they were gone, I got up and walked out the pain gone.
"Scott? Lydia?"
I called hearing nothing but quick footsteps growing near I hesitated but heard a voice calling my name, Theo's.
"Mackenzie?oh my God your ok"
He called appearing into the light I smiled feeling at ease as I saw his face a small smile appeared
"Yeah, I'm.....I'm ok"
I said, he wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed lips against mine, a sharp pain hit my stomach something piercing my skin "uhhhggg!"
I yelled feeling my eyes turning to a bright blue my head sank to Theo's shoulder
He let me down to the ground.
I looked down seeing a knife that he held in my stomach I let my head fall backfeeling myself cough and breath in sharply
"Th-theo w-h-why?"
I choked out looking at him
He didn't say a thing just stared blankly at me I felt my eyes getting heavy, I felt myself slipping.
"Mackenzie wake up! Wake up!"
Someone suddenly called, I could feel someone shaking me I recognized the voice.
My eyes opened and I breathed deeply and fast , taking. In quick breathes as I sat up coughing
"Jesus you scared me "
Stiles voice echoed I looked around seeing I was in a hall of the school
"I - where's, Theo? He was "
I stopped confused at the situation now, was I hallucinating?
"You were hallucinating"
Stiles said quieter now, I nodded "theo is fine, come on let's get out of here"
He called helping me stand up, that hallucination was real ,it gave me a bad feeling, like i dont know if I can trust Theo.

We arrived at deatons, I still wanted to see if he was ok after what stiles said happened
"You left him here?"
I stated more than asked as I rushed through the door over to the operation room seeing Theo on the ground, he stood up turning to me revealing a cut on his cheek. I engulfed him in a hug
"Your ok"
I mumbled against his neck I felt his hand run against my back soothingly.

"Can we uh talk in private?"
He asked, I nodded cautiously filling him into a seperste room
"Stiles told me what happened"
He said leaning against the wall
"Yeah it was just "
I trailed off feeling overwhelmed
"You know I'd never hurt you right? "
He asked standing straight placing a hand onto my hand that rested on the table next to me
"I know"
I mumbled looking down
"Come on Mackenzie you dont believe I'd actually do something like that do you?"
He asked,I didn't answer , I'm not sure if he would or wouldn't.
"Mackenzie "
He pressed stepping closer
"No, I dont its fine I'm gonna head home I just need to clear my head...ill see you tomorrow."
I smiled walking out of the door fast, I left the building and walked quickly home , I didn't know what I was feeling , or thinking.

I arrived home quickly getting inside and shrugging off my shoes jogging up the stairs
"I just need to calm down"
I mumbled to myself pulling off my flannel and everything else.
  I just need a shower, that'll calm my mind , thatll ease my uncertainty  .
I switched on the shower and stepped in letting the warm water pound against my back relieving some of the stress . So many things ran through mine, I've never had an experience like I did tonight , it felt so real.
My fingers were beginning to Prune and shrivel, so I turned of the water and got out ringing my hair over the drain.
I sighed deeply as I grabbed some underwear and an oversized tee putt both on quickly.

I walked out of the bathroom and straight to my bed seeing it was 3 am, terrific.
I climbed in and shuffled around I knew I wasn't gonna get any sleep there was just to much on my mind.

I hope you guys are enjoying this, this is my first successfully plotted out supernatural book that's working in my favor so far, my last one was in the beginning of my writing stage and was outrageously horrible...
