chapter 11- i told you

It had been almost a week since Theo left, and its been hard I almost got killed yet again by the big beast a few days ago when he showed up at the lacrosse game, we think we know who is the person who's being used by it, Mason.
We confronted him there and he dissaperead literally...with Corey. It's been an eventful few days, I've been really upset and worried about Theo, he texted me a day after he left and that was it. Its been so much lately, I started walking the trails in the woods behind the school, to calm myself.
Today was one of those days, I had just left the school actually, and headed for the trail.
I always made sure no one was behind me before slipping away in the quiet of the woods.
I walked and walked admiring the beauty that lied in every nook and cranny, I heard the sweet chirp of birds and rush of water hitting against rocks of a nearby river that was small.
This was the only place in beacon hills that seemed peaceful and beautiful, no crzy beast running around town or 3 cyborgs in metal suits capturing teenagers and changing them into artificial wolves.
A branch cracked taking me away from the peace as I became alarmed, I looked around and halted all movements.
I squinted my eyes in hopes of seeing anything but I couldn't see a thing in the midst of leaves and branches.
Another branch cracked followed by rustling of leaves, to big to be a rabbit or squirrel.
A shadow fell through the leaves revealing a boy fall down covered in dirt,his shirt ripped and torn, his hair a mess and bruises covered his face along with cuts.
I couldn't recongize who it was, they were to far away a good 300 feet.
I stepped a few steps closer recognizing the facial features but still couldnt tell who i was.
Theyre eyes blinked open into a squint as they looked at me, it was theo.
"Oh my god!"
I screeched running over stepping over the river and to the outer layers of the other side of the woods were he'd fallen
"Theo, oh my god what happened to you?"
I asked, he didnt respond, i leaned my ear against his chest hearing him breathing and his heart beating faintly.
His arm reached for me anything to grab onto,
"Its gonna be ok , im calling Scott "
I called attempting to calm him as i pressed my phone against my
"Pick up come on"
I said to myself as I held my hand against a bigger wound on his side that I'd just noticed.
I started to feel myself cry thinking of the worst possibility
"Hello"
Scotts voice called I sighed quietly
"Scott I need you now, I'm in the woods behind the school and Theo is here he's dying, Scott he's really hurt please hurry "
I sobbed trying to keep my hand firmly on the wound and not breakdown any worse than I was."ok ok we're on our way justdo everything you can until we get there and there and keep him calm"
He said before hangin up.
"Its ok im here "
I sai stroking his face trying to get to him to keep his eyes open
"I-im s-s-s-sorry "
He choked looking up at me
"Baby you didnt do anything, stay with me dont close your eyes"
I said picking his head up and propping him in my lap
"I- i left y-y-you"
He said in a whisper his eyes blinking very slow ,like they were closing.
"No, dont close your eyes"
I cried my tears falling slowly onto him.I heard Scott running and others as they entered the woods were I was
"Oh my God "
Scott said rushing over and helping up Theo into his arms, cause Theo can't walk. Iran with them as we got out of there and to an ambulance, they loaded him up so quickly and wouldn't let me in
"You let me go with him....I'm all he has "
I screamed in tears
"Ma'am you can't we're losing him we gotta go now"
He said shutting the door as the car sped off.
I dropped to my knees yelling out the worst things going through my mind, as the words 'we're losing him'
Ran through my mind over and over again. I looked down at my hands that were covered in his blood my eyes could barely focused as the tears rushed out
"Come on Mackenzie lets go "
Scott said helping me up towards stiles jeep, were it sat running ready to leave.
I looked around at all the students that had formed watching at what happened ..
I got in as we sped off after the ambulance , on the way it started to rain heavily, thunder rung through the jeep and lightning clashed. A tingling feeling ran through my hands, arms , legs.
Everytime there was a storm, this happened and being upset wasnt helping me control it, plus being in a storm wouldnt help either.
I clutched my fists together feeling my claws sinking into my palms, this was like my other full moon.
Liam looked over me,which he happened to be here.
He must've noticed as he nodged me,i nodded trying to keep control but i was slipping, theo is like my anchor and i had to relearn how to be my own, and since hes come back ive been slowly slipping back to him. And knowing hes hurt is making me lose control.
I looked up and over at liam "mackenzie are you ok ?"
He whispered to me I nodded trying to mask what was going on.
"Your eyes are bright blue Mackenzie,and blood along with lighting is coming from your hands"
He said nodding down to my balled up fists noticing the blood and strings of lighting banging between my fist and seat.
Scott took notice and looked back at me
"Pull over "
I said to stiles who was driving, he couldn't tell what was happening, that this car was enhancing my problem.
"Why we're almost there"
He said picking up in speed , thinking I was just anxious to get there.
My teeth grinded against each other and my jaw tightened. I lost my control
"Pull over stiles!"
I roared my fangs appearing and eyes bright as I looked in the rearview mirror meeting stiles horrified stare as he pulled over .
I jumped out slamming my fists on the hard concrete making a crack
"I need air, ill meet you there "
I breathed out as I saw them nod before taking off down the road.
I got up the rain cooling me down , I opened my hands seeing the lightening calming down , disappearing completely.
I felt my fangs go back to my normal teeth and just assumed my eyes were normal to.
I jogged off towards the hospital that wasn't to far.

By the time I got there I was soaking wet and cold.
I ignored the person up at front desk trying to stop me.
I knew where he was, I just knew.
I jogged over to a room seeing him sitting up in a bed, IVs in his skin. He was asleep.

It was 2 am and I was fighting the urge to sleep. He didn't wake up yet but the doctor said he was alive which is a big step forward.
I looked up from the lame book that sat in the room to see his eyes slowly opening, his head turned my way slightly. I got out of my chair slowly and walked over to him
"Theo?"
I said reaching the bed
"Mackenzie , I'm so sorry"
He mumbled out I shook my head and hugged him lightly, even though he's probably healed I assume he's sore. I pulled away slightly and looked down at him
"im just glad your ok"
I whispered looking into his eyes as that cocky smirk he always has on.
I leant down and kissed him softly, in reality I really just missed him.
"I should've never left you"
He said tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Well no, but let's not talk about that, you just get some rest and we'll leave in the morning ok"
I said walking back over to the very uncomfortable chair that I spent most of the night on, but I didn't mind.
"Mackenzie"
He said I turned around and looked over at him
"Yes?"
I asked taking my jacket off, so I could use it as a cover.
"Come sleep with me, I know that chair has to be uncomfortable "
He said smiling before shifting all the way over to the side, so I could sit.
   "Theo , your hurt, you need to be comfy "
I said walking towards the chair where I adjusted the pillow I asked for
"I'm not gonna be able to sleep when your over there"
He pouted, I rolled my eyes and sighed
"Ok fine"
I huffed walking over to his bed getting under the covers and snuggling against his chest so I could fit.
"Goodnight "
I whispered sighing again before closing my eyes.
"Goodnight baby girl"
He whispered as I slowly drifted into sleep
