chapter 13- special

I woke up earlier than ususal, got dressed and ate breakfast.
I was on edge, last night I found another suspicious hidden feature of my supernatural self. My sword apparently glows blue, and I dont really know what causes that, I mean that's the first time I've ever seen that. I can't go to my mom, I know she won't tell me much.
I grabbed my phone and walked over to my balcony door. I called Theo hoping maybe we could check something out that I had found late last night.
"Hello"
His voice called I smiled as I looked back at my door, double checking for my mom.
"Hey, are you doing anything after school?"
I asked walking over to my desk grabbing my bag and keys realizing I had to leave. "No why?"
He asked ask made my way out the door hearing him shuffling around, I assumed he was leaving as well.
"Well I found something about my necklace and it happens to be here, in beacon hills, would you wanna go with me?"
I asked as I started my car and backed out
"Yeah, I would love to go....what is it exactly?"
He asked as I turned out into the main rode seeing his truck behind me , I smiled in the rearview
"Ill tell you at school see you in a bit"
I smiled before hanging up, I pulled into the parking lot parking up front for once.
I hopped out hearing thunder roll and lightning strike above me a tingnling feeling setting in my hands. The storms seemed to be to recent, something was up.
"Hey what's wrong?"
A voice called I turned and saw Theo
"Uh no nothing's wrong "
I smiled as he grabbed my hand and we walked towards school, I mean at least something made me happy through all of this right now

It was the middle of school and I was currently late to class. I grabbed my text book and jogged off as fast as I could in wedges to class, suddenly I was kicked over sprawling my self on the ground,my things flying off in front of me.
I stood up and turned being met with a very pissed off Traci and a half scaled face.
She charged at me , her tail had been chopped of so that's one thing I dont have to worry about.
she kicked at me but I dodged avoiding her feet which definitely needed a trim.
I punched her in the face and kicked makingn her fly down the floor I growled angrily and flicked my hands out my claws pushing through and my fangs appearing.
I launched at her now standing form landing a strike into her stomach before a sudden erge to grab my sword which I did.
I stabbed her into her stomach seeing a faint glow again on my sword I pulled it out letting her body fall onto the ground with a thud
"Fuck"
I muttered seeing stiles appear along with Lydia as I put my sword away.
"Well Traci was back "
I said grabbing my book and purse.
"Help me?"
I asked grabbing her legs as stiles took her arms and we took her off.

It was after school we ended up giving the body to deaton to look over.
I was currently waiting on Theo to pick me up, I was at my home in the driveway.
I held my black Cardigan thing to my body as a gust of wind blew threw my hair.
A car pulled up and it's window sauntered down revealing Theo's face wearing his usual smirk.
"Get in"
He said smiling, I giggled and jogged over hurrying over to the car pulling open the door and sitting in.
"Hello"
I smiled kissing his cheek, "so where are we going?"
He asked as he started driving off, I looked out the window then back at him
"Derek hales house"
I said lowly looking down
"You want to go to the hales house?"
He asked looking over at me, I nodded and looked off to the road
"Yes, there's something on that property, there's a connection with my fox and that place"
I said playing with my necklace, I wasn't wrong about the hales, something is bringing me there , wants me to find something.

I hopped out of the car stepping onto the driveway of Derek hales property. Which was large.
"Where is the thing your looking for?"
Theo asked walking over to where I stood,looking around hoping the fox could direct me or give me a hint where to go.
A sudden pull towards his house gave me a hint.
I walked forward the few feet to his house that was basically demolished.
"Do you know what it looks like?"
He asked following onto the house as I looked over the floor, I'd assume there's a door or something.
"I'm not sure but something's telling me its around this area "
I said Theo getting the hint to help me search, even though this house is basically a floor its still big.
"What exactly am I looking for?"
Theo called as I looked back watching him looking over the floor a few feet from me
"Like a door or something that stands out "
I said kicking a rug to the side, seeing nothing I sighed moving on.
"I think I found something "
Theo called I stood up and walked towards his voice, I slipped through a door seeing him crouched over a handle screwed into the floor "well that's a start "
I said pulling the big rug back that had to weigh ten times more with rubble and wood tossed on top
"Here "
Theo said grabbing the rug next to me pulling back his face scrunching up and muscles flexing, I shook my head stumbling as I yanked back the rug with all I had stepping aside as It fell over a bed.
"Are you ok?"
He asked seeing my flushed face, I shook my head
"Oh, no, I'm fine let's get this door open"
I said walking over to the door grabbing the handle and yanking it up, with a creak it fall over to the right smacking against the floor.
I grabbed my phone out of my jacket pocket and flipped on the light walking down onto a very suspicious stair, I looked over at theo who just stared at me
"Are you coming?"
I asked smiling. He nodded and quickly pulled out his phone flipping on the flash and following me Down.
As I walked off the step and looked around the big , dirty basement, I realized this could take forever. I dont even know what I'm looking for, it could be big or small, I'm not sure.
Another feeling pinged in my gut telling me To go to a big cabinet with Japanese writing over it and a lock , but wasn't ordinary it was shaped weird.
"Well that's not obvious "
Theo chuckled behind me I giggled lightly placing my hand against the writing feeling a sensation, my fox was attempting to interact with the cabinet.
"I dont know what would fit this lock"
I mumbled looking at the lock, Theo walked up behind me and admired the lock.
"Why dont you take a picture and we can research it?"
He asked against my shoulder shivers running down my spine I smiled looking down taking a quick picture of the lock and the cabinet it's self.
"Ok" I mumbled as he took my hand and we left.

Theo decided to drive me back since I was to anxious and nervous to.
His hand sat on my thigh as we rode home, I saw my house growing closer and closer before he parked, I saw my mom in the window and new I was done for.
I begun to panick knowing she knows about Theo now, my mom isn't stupid.
"My mom"
I started looking at her in the mirror.
"Its fine, I know she hates me. "
He smiled unlocking the doors.
I took off my seatbelt and got closer to him pulling him by the neck closer. I kissed him hard as his hands fumbled onto my sides.
I pulled away smiling
"See yah tomorrow "
I said jumping out of the car jogging up to my house.
I opened the door quietly and walked through
"Mackenzie!"
My mother screamed from the kitchen , I scrunched my face and walked more like tip toed in.
"Who was that?!" She asked
I shook my head looking down with a roll of the eye.
"My boyfriend "
I said looking back up to her
"Who?"
She asked, technically I wasn't lying yet I was just going to avoid his name and anything that gave her a hint it was Theo.
" a guy I go to school with"
True, I did go to school with him.
She shook her head knowing I wouldn't give her a name but she also showed suspicion.
"Ok then "
She said signaling me off, I decided to ask her about the hales and why I was drawn to that house
"So, is there anything you wanna tell me bout my fox, and the hales?"
I asked leaning against the counter right next to the door.
She stopped everything she was doing and turned to me
"How do you even know that name?"
She asked looking me dead in the eye
"My fox, drew me there, I found a really old ancient cabinet with Japanese writing."
I said sighing , she wasn't gonna tell me anything new, she probably will tell me not to go there.
She looked worried
"What's been going on the past Month?"
She asked hesitant for my answer
"Nothing."
I said, I wasn't gonna tell her, never.
"You aren't ready for that piece of the puzzle"
She said looking at me with a warning tone in voice.
"Mom I am "
I said hoping she would take my word, by she shook her head looking down.
"You have never been in any sort of position where you've had to fight for your life and use your power properly"
She said shaking her head, the truth is my mom never knew what happened with Theo and I and what people said,she assumed someone saw my powers, at least that's what I told her.
I didn't wanna tell my mom, but I'm tired of her telling me Im not ready.
"really? I haven't?"
I asked as she turned to me now curious to see what I've been up to.
"No"
She said sternly
"Well let's see....at my old school I got in multiple fights were I almost died with some weird supernatural metal mask wearing demons and still am here, I've gotten killed and came back to life, almost died by some big black beast from hell, saved my friends multiple times, fought a rouge kitsune, battled a half human half lizard teenager who died then came back to life and I killed. My fox is acting up, my sword now glows blue, I can suddenly speak Japanese, I had some older dude try and kill me in my own home for my dagger necklace , so yeah I'd say I've had enough experience and deserve to know the truth"
I said my blood boiling and knowing I was yelling now
She stood without any word
"Why haven't I known I could of helped you"
She spoke I laughed dryly
"I did it my own , handled it just fine. I need to know about my fox "
I said looking down , it seemed like it was forever like she wasn't gonna answer.
"Ok.....tomorrow "
She said turning around,I smiled in success.
