chapter 12 - "you shouldnt have gone"

I sat in the uncomfortable chair, wide awake at 10am. The doctor came in and made me moved, very angrily.
I had been made By Lydia to get dressed, since my clothes were beginning to smell like mildew.
I was hoping Theo would wake up soon so we could get him out of here.
All the teens that died recently are back, the dread doctors are closing in on us, and the beast is mostly after me, things have gotten horrible since Theo left.
I heard him shuffle gaining my gaze.
"Theo?"
I asked standing up seeing his eyes Peel open and a smile appear on his face.
"Good morning "
I called grabbing my bag and phone "morning"
He said sitting up yawning
"Well, I would for you to rest but we gotta go, we got business to handle "
I said throwing some clothes at him
He looked down then up at me.
"Ill be in the hall"
I called stepping out of the room, now that I know hes ok I can be mad at him.

A few minutes later Theo walked out, and I walked off intending for him to follow . Which he ended up doing, He really had no choice.

I walked out to my car and opened my door swiftly shutting it seeing him hesitantly getting in on the other side.
I ignored his stare as I started the car and took off out of the parking lot
"What's wrong?"
He asked as I only looked at the road
"Mackenzie?"
He asked causing me to sigh deeply as I pressed the brakes reaching a stop light.
"Nothing is wrong Theo"
I said giving him a short smile before pressing onto the gas, we were heading to Scotts. He had another master plan, we finally figured out that the dread doctors only appear if there is any sort of satellite, power, electricity around , at least that's when there the strongest. And coincidentally there is a big lacrosse game against deven Ford prep, which means it will be aired on TV.
Our guess is that's when they'll show taking more teens and bring the beast. Aka Mason. Who no one has heard from for 2 weeks now, and we're , well malia is supposed to take down all the satellites.
"Please tell me.....I wanna know...was it me?"
He asked looking over at me catching off guard, I almost missed my turn.
I closed my eyes and looked over at him as I parked in front of Scotts.
"Yeah,it is. Ok when you left I broke down, I lost control, I got hurt because of it. You are my rock, and as much as you piss me off I still keep coming back to you. Why can't you see that? "
I asked pulling the keys out of the ignition, I turned to him taking my seatbelt so I could really look at him and let him see the hurt in my eyes. I have cuts in my hands from constantly losing control since he's been gone, they dont ever get a chance to fully heal.
"I- I didn't....I'm sorry Mackenzie...I'm so sorry , I'm always fucking things up with you and your always there for me through it all, I dont know why or how I even deserve to see you let alone have you, call you mine....what I did was wrong but I didn't, I couldn't let them hurt you so I thought if I left maybe they'd leave you. But instead I hurt you and I almost died"
He said looking down ashamed.
He was right , I'm always staying no matter what. Its hard to say why I stay, its just I love him and Hes my love.
"You dont need to say anything."
He said looking up at me I nodded looking away
"I would do the same for you no matter what the outcome "
I said looking at him before getting out of the car walking Into the house hearing the car door slam as I approached the door.

It was game time. Me, Theo, Lydia and malia all went in my car why the boys and Hayden took stiles.
I got out of the car walking up to the bleachers as malia went for the news vans
"What's your thought on this plan?"
As  looked over at Lydia and Theo both. I pushedmy hair behind my ear , I had taken it out of the painful half bun.
"Just hope it works "lydia said smiling and looking away. Well then.

Half time was approaching, and nothing had happened, other than a down pour.
I saw Scott, Hayden and stiles trying to hold liam back from something before a loud roar like malias sounded followed by another, and then a larger one. I looked over to Theo who was the only one near me, Lydia followed to the scene
"Lets go "
I nodded jumping the railing infront of me charging down the middle of the field my hair clingling to my neck.
Theo caught up to me,I saw a dark huge figure with glowing blue eyes jumping up over a news van. I looked down seeing liam jumping up with it getting smacked down instantly, I gasped as I looked back up.
Stiles, and Hayden grabbed him and took off to the school.
I guess our last option was to fight....again.
I looked over at Theo and Scott taking off towards it and soon malia too.
I growled lowly not wanting to fight but I had no choice.
I flicked my hands out and took off walking swiftly on the side of a news van before pushing my self off and jumping swing my hand down grabbing my sword out of my jacket and flinging the blade out in a matter of seconds slicing a cut into its shoulder as I fell onto my fist my eyes bright blue I flung my sword up protecting myself from his claws switching the blade side to side up and down with each blow he took. The rest of the guys attempted to attack him but he would swing them into near by vehicles.
  My sword started to glow blue , I've never seen it before I jumped up and came down onto it my knife stabbing into his back. I heard Lydia's gut wrenching scream of masons name I looked down and saw the beast shrink and masons body appear falling to the ground.
I stood up next to him , I shook as I put my sword away ,the same man that almost killed me and tried to take my necklace stood a few feet away with a smirk before taking off.
I growled a loud growl, he stopped but picked up speed again.
Lightning striked behind me and thunder rolled, I put my hands up then smacking mg fist against the ground, it cracking after him but he was gone .i looked back over to Mason scurrying over to him, I looked down seeing him stopping his moves.
"I can save him"
I said placing both my hands over his chest and conjuring my power from deep inside lightning sparking out of my hands lifting his body slightly.
He gasped loudly, and looked up at me.
"Mason! Your alive "
I smiled helping him up stiles and Scott rushed over helping him to stiles car.
"We are going to find that man "
I said to Theo as held my and as I fell against him feeling weak.
"Lets get you home"
He called taking my keys.

"I need to find away to understand this dagger"
I said looking down at it.
"We'll find a way"
Theo smiled
"How?"
I whispered not thinking he heard
"We will figure it out.....I promise"
He said parking in my driveway and looking at me before slowly leaning into me and kissing me
I smiled unbuckling my seat and getting out
"See you tomorrow raeken "
I smirked walking up to my house.
