Angelica only ever told Eliza this was happening. So when the restrining order on John Barker was placed, Alexander was not alowed to know. Angelica hated not being able to tell anyone but, she didnt want to hurt John or upset anyone. She knew not telling people was not good.
This abuse was hapening for about two months. Alexander was wondering why she was visiting so much without John.
One day Alex asks her,"Angelica,why do you not bring John with you when you visit?"
She said,"Alex, he is a very busy man."
He responed,"Very well then, but can he come next time you visit, I want to talk to him. I havent seen him in a while."
Eliza blurts,"ALEXANDER STOP QUESTINING HER!"
Eliza was so worried about Angelica and she HATED keeping secrects from Alex or anyone else really.
Angelica says,"My dearest Alexander, John is either at work,at home working, or on a trip for work. Sorry love but he is hardly home, that is why I am here so much.My house is just so emtey."
With a sad face,"Angelica, I am sorry for questioning you about John. You are always welcome here."
Now, Eliza goes upstairs to sleep.
