Angelica goes home to see John very drunk. She sat him down at the table told him to sign the paper and it would all be over. He looks at the paper then her.
He raises him arm to hit her but she slaps him first and yells
"SIGN THE GODDANM PAPER."
He looks as if wanted to shoot her. He grabs the pen and signs. Angelica takes the papers and says goodbye.
She leaves for Eliza house. When she is there she remembers that Mondays are meetings. She walks in, catching Jefferson's attention, he looks are her and smiles. She smiles back and walks to Eliza. She falls into her arms and starts sobbing. She was happy for it to be over, but she couldn't believe it was over so fast.
They walk upstairs where Alex and Thomas weren't yelling at each other.
Eliza comforts Angelica saying you are safe here my love, its all okay.
Angelica smiles.
