dear arizona,

while ive known you for only seventeen days, it feels like seventeen weeks.

mountain time zone is hard to get used to

and daylight savings isnt even a thing.

lets start off with a question:
why so many cactus?

and not only one species,
but 51 species.

fifty freaking one

i say thats a bit over kill, but hey who am i to say?

i've officially determined the only people that live here is old people.

especially old men with beards and camouflage gear.
my mom says i'll fit in during summer.
she's already seen several old men with hawaiian shirts.
so i'll fit in for sure.

while the sun has already burnt my cheeks and scalp,
it doesn't come as much of a surprise;
my skin is porcelain white.
it's ridiculous.

your highways are confusing as fudge covered meatballs.

i get that california's the only state that calls highways like "THE 15" and their actual names,
but it's so confusing when you have to know N/E/W/S.

i'm lazy as heckity heck

leave me alone

while i do want to blame you for separating me and my old life and friends 390 miles,
i know it's not you.

i'm slowly getting used to you.
slowly getting more comfortable.
soon i'll be totally fine and dandy.

well like each other sooner or later,
i can tell.
