my life is always filled with distractions
whether it's the mind numbing chatter of tv characters
or beautiful notes and melodies paired with the voices of my favorite artists
i never give myself time to let my brain think
but there's this short time where everything is silent
not

single
distraction
this is the time i reflect on my life
when my mind is full of the loud "poetry" that's constantly being added to during my day sworms and swirls around in my head until my fingers get it down
