"Gosh I love you so much" I mumbled, Softly kissing his lips. "I love you more" he smiled, sucking air into his cheeks and pressing his lips to mine. I laughed, My straight white teeth showing. "Have I told you how perfect you are?" He smiled, Pulling me into his lap. "Yes Matthew, You have, For the past three years we've been together" I chuckled, Draping my tan arms around his neck.

"Dawn!" Matthew groaned from across the apartment. "Matthew!" I slugged myself into the modern themed living room. He opened his arms on the couch, Gesturing me to cuddle. "I have to get going soon love" I said, Sitting and leaning next to him. "How long?" He asked. "An hour and I have to shower and find something to wear and get r-" he cut off my rambling, "start and get in your shower, I will find you something to wear, What's the occasion?" I sighed and nodded, "I'm just gonna go out and explore more of Cali" I breathed. He nodded and stood up, Pulling me with him and placing his hand on the small of my back.

I stepped out of the shower, Wrapping the gray towel around my Body. Walking into the bedroom, I saw light washed colored high denim shorts with a black crop top. On the floor we're tan sandals. I first walked over to my dresser and slipped on a white top with two to four strings that laced across my chest. I slipped on some black bottoms and then walked over to the bed. I smiled and slipped on the clothing. I buckled my right sandal and looked down at my very light pink painted toes. I brushed and blow dried my hair, pulling it into a loose braid, Slipping a pair of sunglasses on the top of my head and putting in some gold earrings.

"Bye, I'm gonna go, Love you" I quickly said, Pecking Matthew on the lips and racing out the door. I grabbed my car keys out of my pocket and walked to my car. Getting in the car and placing my phone in the cup holder before strapping my seatbelt around me and starting up the car.

Parking my car in the parking spot and looking through my windshield to the sandy ground and the salty waters that curled and released their stress onto the sand, Causing it turn a darker brown. I've always loved the beach if I really think about it. It was a place that would calm me.

After my thinking session about how my teenage years at the beach were spent, I slipped off my clothing, Leaving me in my bathing suit and my shorts. I got out of my car and shut the door, Opening the back door. Grabbing my bag with a towel and some tanning oil. I put my sunglasses down onto my face, Shutting my back door and then opened the drivers door again. I slipped my phone into my back pocket and leaned out of my car. I backed up out the way to shut my car door and bumped into someone.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" I quickly said as I turned around. He was about 5'8, shorter than Matthew. He had black hair and brown eyes, But in the sun they shone a light goldish color. He chuckled, "it's alright" He had an Australian accent, Like me. "I wasn't paying attention" I slightly laughed. "I would've thought that since your back was turned" I slightly smiled, Nodding. "Are you here alone?" He asked, "Yeah, My boyfriend was busy and I wanted to go out" I thought it was necessary to bring up Matthew, Also to mention my boyfriend since I was 16 and I'm almost 20 now.

"Well, Id be glad to hang out with you, As a friendly gesture of course." He smiled. I thought about it before accepting. He stepped back a little so I could finally shut my car door, I grabbed my keys out of my bag and locked it. "Lets go" I smiled. He chuckled and nodded.

My toes touched the sand through my sandals and it felt like I was still in high school. "So have you always lived in Cali?" He asked. "Actually, I moved here from Australia when i was 15. What about you?" I asked. "Really!? I moved from Australia here when I was 11!" He answered, Smiling. "Really? Oh my gosh! That's crazy" I laughed. He looked at me and smiled, Letting out a laugh. "Oh, By the way, I'm Adam" He chuckled. "I'm Dawn" I said, Shaking his hand.

"So, Uh, How long have you and your boyfriend been together?" He asked, Slipping off his shirt. "About three years now, Almost four" I answered, Sitting on my towel. He slowly nodded, Squinting his eyes from the sun. "Are you in a relationship?" I asked him. "Y-yeah, Totally" He made a 'phhft' noise and chuckled. I slowly nodded, Knowing he was lying. "Anything I should know? We should get to know each other" He said, Sitting down. "I graduated from high school last year" I simply said. "So you're 19?" He asked, "almost 20" I informed. He chuckled, "I just recently turned 21" I slowly nodded.

"Well, Thank you for joining me in the beach so I wasn't alone" I smiled, Unlocking my car. "Anytime, Here's my number so if you're ever up for another beach day" He smiled. I slowly took the small paper from him and put it in my bag. "See you" I said and "see you" He smiled another cheeky smile, walking off. I got in my car, Getting settled, I drove home.
