It was evening. The sky showed a myriad of colors which reflected very well my current feelings.

Last time before leaving she had mentioned that she would be coming over today. Yet, I could not find a shadow of her being.

I was worried that the little girl who always comes early in the morning for a visit and never goes back on her word might have gotten into some kind of problem. At the same time I felt lonely, perhaps she doesn't wish to meet me. She is not obligated to take care of me just because we are very close blood relatives, right?

And then again, there was helplessness. If I could move about freely I could just find out the reason myself!

I can't stay cooped up in this room anymore.

I had been a person who was wholeheartedly dedicated to my work of Espionage (colloquially known as spying) for the Secret Intelligence Agency. I mean to say, I used to work hard on keeping myself fit, that was a basic requirement of my job.

Moreover, an unrestrained person like me could not bear to stay still like this stuck to bed.

Finally, I decided to go out. I don't care if I have to suffer a bit. I shifted on bed and stood up shakily. I had imagined that I would feel intense pain but no such thing happened. That is strange. I had suffered from internal injuries which were supposed to take six months to recover completely. Although, I can still feel pain from movement it is not something I can't handle. Maybe, this body' s recovery rate is incredibly high that's all. I decided not to think much of it.
