"I, Daniel Marriott, challenge you for a duel in the upcoming fight" he said in a voice filled with arrogance.
"I will definitely fight you. Did you really have to even ask for it? " I said while sighing. I looked at him with an expression of an adult who was reprimanding a child for his ignorance.
Daniel was taken aback by my sudden acceptance for the duel but when he realized what exactly I meant by the look I gave him, he became furious. He clenched his teeth and turned away without a word. I was expecting him to lash out at me but I guess the kid's not all that stupid. I felt someone's gaze at me and turned to see who it was. The person looked to be around my age or maybe slightly older. He had dark brown hair and blue eyes. There was an aura of coldness seeping from him. It was not a battle aura but somewhat similar. I couldn't decide what it was even after thinking a lot. My eyebrows were furrowed as I was in deep thought but looked up immediately when I felt someone approaching. It was that very youth who was staring at me previously. He quietly came up closer and leaned on the wall space beside me to stand as leisurely as I did. He didn't speak neither did I. Why should I start a conversation? I didn't feel the need to besides he was the one who came here not me.
I looked around just like I did before except this time I was more vigilant and payed special attention to the person next to me. If he wants to attack by closing in on me then it wasn't going to happen.
