The day comes to an end and the night's mantle descends, so does the life of a man named Jake but what happens when he breaks free from the usual cycle of birth and gets reincarnated?
The two of them kept striking at each other continuously shifting from one part of the field to another. They were so fast that there was basically not much time lag between each strike.
And the most astonishing thing was that as the battle progressed prince Lewis was slowly increasing the strength of his strikes by adding more lightening aura to it.
It gave me a feeling as though he did not intend to use any more power than necessary and at the same time was trying to overwhelm his opponent by using just enough aura for it.
He simply kept at it till Callum could not take it anymore. And when Callum tried to change his approach, the prince dealt him a final strike which blasted half the field.
However, the strike or the person who caused it were not visible at all for the battle field was filled with dust and stones obscuring the sight. It seemed as though Callum had just stepped on a landmine and flew off the field from the impact and Prince Lewis hadn't moved at all!
That's when I started contemplating whether the prince was not just strange but a freak too.
I have never come across this sort of thing in my 'previous life'. Weapons can blow up people but people themselves turning into actual weapon, that is just...
I don't know. I have practically no words to describe my feelings right now.
But this just gives me a perfect idea as to how different this world is from my previous one and how much more harder I have to work in order to increase my rate of survival here.
