When the carriage finally stopped, I took a deep breath and stepped out.
The magnificence of the building in front of me could not be described in words. The structure was made from limestone which was polished enough to make it shine in the presence of slightest of light. The floors were made of white marble and the roofs were adorned with different shaped chandeliers. We walked for a while in silence, moving towards the center of this building, when a guard suddenly stopped us. "The spectators should head towards left from here and participants to the right" the guard said while bowing his head. "Alright then, do your best" father said. I parted my ways with them and the guard asked yet another one to help me find my way around.
I was sent to a room filled with boys of my age dressed in armors made of silver, gold and iron which were designed exquisitely. Looking at them I realized the extravagance of the aristocrats. There were only a few who dressed casually and I was one of them. I walked to a quite corner in the room and looked around at the people one by one, slowly assessing them. I don't really think a bunch of kids can do anything to me, a veteran fighter, but my very instincts are honed in such a way that I always pay careful attention to my surroundings. I saw Daniel making his way towards me. He came and stood right in front of me before taking out his sword and pointing it at my neck.
Haah, what a bothersome kid....
