Out of patience

I activated my battle aura and the air surrounding us started whirling at an insane rate. Daniel was shocked to come across such a development. The dust was filling the stage completely, affecting the visibility of the audience. I could hear people gasping in surprise. I didn't wait for Daniel to catch up to what was happening and striked at him. This is where he proved to be a hardworking person for he quickly reined in his surprise and pulled up his sword to meet mine. If it was someone who did not hold much experience in the field of swordplay, I'm sure this strike alone would have been enough to bring my opponent down. Whenever our swords clashed, Daniel's water aura spread out in my direction trying to reach me but was swiftly blocked by my aura made of air.
When I had first found out that my aura had the wind attribute, I was shocked. Everyone knows that a child inherits their parents genes, similarly attributes are also hereditary. Yet, rather than possessing water attribute I had wind. Well I guess there are always exceptions.
Jeez, how many times are we going to strike at each other. My hands are getting sore. Even though I have improved my swordsmanship significantly it does not change the fact that I have recently recovered from my injuries. The strength of this body is far less than my previous one. Daniel looked as if he didn't care but I'm sure he is getting impatient slowly and steadily just like me.
It was a battle of patience.
He gave in first. He used his all to transfer a huge amount of his aura to the stage floor. I could see innumerable cracks forming on the stage spreading even towards the high pillars surrounding the stadium. I jumped up and stood on top of my sword blade which was floating higher than the reach of Daniel's aura without any support, in the air.
