Chapter 4-Starting the Unexpected Journey

Fili's POV

I walked all around the little Hobbit hole looking for my brother. I had checked all the rooms except the last one I was standing in front of. I gently opened the door and saw my brother sitting on a chair next to a sleeping (Y/N) with her cheek cupped in his hand.

"Kili, Come on we're leaving." I said

"Alright, alright, I'm coming, I'm coming." He said slowly getting up and letting his hand fall away from her face

"KILI, Come On Hurry up." I whisper yelled

"Sssshhhhh!" He said putting a finger to his lips

"You two don't need to whisper you know I'm awake right?" With that both our head spun towards the young girl in the bed.

Your POV:

"Kili come on we're leaving" A voice said snapping my out of my dreams

"Alright, alright, I'm coming, I'm coming." was that Kili, I felt a bit of warmth fall away from my face

"KILI, Come On Hurry up." one of them whisper yelled, Fili? I opened my eyes and sat up and saw the two brothers glaring at each other

"Sssshhhhh!" Kili said putting his finger to his lips

"You two don't need to whisper, you know I'm awake right?" With that both their heads spun towards me. I got up out of bed. "Come on we're leaving aren't we don't want to keep the rest of the company waiting." I said

"Wait I thought Bilbo-" Fili started

"I'm going, I don't care what he says, I'm not staying in the Shire forever, he can't keep me in my room my whole life." I say I took off my dressing gown and picked up my bags. "Come on, let's go." I say walking past the shocked boys towards the front door and meting the rest of the gang and handing to contract to Balin. Without any more question we started on our way. Me riding on my pony next to Kili and Fili.

We were on ponies heading down the track. "Do you think he'll come?" Ori said

"Think who'll come?" Oin said

"Bilbo." Ori said

"I bet that grocer will stay with his books in his little sweet home." Thorin said

"I think he'll come." I said and threw a bag of coins towards Thorin. "Let's do a bet shall we." Once I said that everyone started to bet if Bilbo would come or not. The people who bet he wouldn't were Thorin, Oin, Gloin, Dwalin, Dori, Bifur and Bomber, the people who thought he would were Me, Gandalf, Kili, Fili, Ori, Nori, Balin and Bofur.

"I wouldn't hope lass, That he'll come that is." Thorin said

"He will, I bet he's running through the Shire right now jumping over things and yelling that he can't stop and talk because he's going on an adventure." I say, I smirked, knowing I would win because that was all true because of my elf hearing I could hear Bilbo yelling he was going on an adventure and running towards us. Then right on que.

"WAIT!WAIT!" We all stopped and turned around there were a few murmurs in the group about how Bilbo was here. "I signed it." He said handing it to Balin. Balin put on is reading glasses and looked at the contract, Bilbo started to look around then he come across me and stared at me, I just put on an innocent smile and just before Bilbo would have told me off Balin spoke up.

"Everything seems in order, Welcome Master Baggins to the company of Thorin Oakenshield." Balin announced. Some slight laughter and cheers come from the boys
