Your POV:

Slowly I opened my eyes letting them adjust to the sun light shining through my window. As my body awoke I felt arms around me and that my pillow was a little more chiselled, you could say, than the night before. I slowly followed the arm that was around my waist up to a body next to me in the bed. Startled I push the figure off my bed, I heard an ow from the floor making me look down. I see Kili sitting up and brushing his hair out of his face. He smirked at me.

"Whelp, that's a new way to wake up in the morning," he chuckled, I let out a little giggle

"Sorry," I sighed as I looked down at him. He smiled and stood up offering me his hand to help me out of bed. I smiled and rolled my eyes accepting his help and throwing the covers off my legs. I sighed as I slipped my hand out of Kili's grasp and moved to look out the window, there was a moment of silence until I felt arms around my waist, a body behind my back and a voice in my ear.

"So...today's the day....huh?" Kili said his breathe and stubble tickling my neck, I nodded and closed my eyes, basking in the feeling of being in his arms. My mind knew that we'd have to move out of our embrace and getting ready for a farewell, but my heart didn't want to accept it. After a while Kili kissed my cheek and unwrapped his arms from my waist moving his body away from mine. "I better get ready to see you off then, until this afternoon....princess." I heard the door close as I let a tear fall. I took in a shaky breath and moved away from the window and opened the trunk of clothes in my room. I smiled as I picked an outfit and started to get changed.

I had packed everything we would need for the journey and was outside the front gate waiting for Bilbo and Balin. Soon they came forward talking about the journey and how it would be remembered ( I know in the movie they talk about how Thorin would be remembered but in this story Thorin is alive so I changed it to the adventure, please don't hate!)

"There will be a great feast tonight, Songs will be sung, tales will be told and the journey to Erabor will pass into legend....." Balin looked towards the great mountain holding back tears threating to spill. I smiled slightly as I went and stood by my father as he spoke

"I know that's how you must honour it, but to me-" he looked to his side where I stood and smiled "-To us, it was never like that, it was...to us...it was...." he choked on his words and tears before sucking in a breath turning to leave, "Well we'll slip quietly away, will you tell the others we said bye,"

"You can tell them yourself," Balin said, we both turned around and saw the company standing there, I smiled slightly as I looked down the line smiling at the every one of them. We stepped forward and father began to speak

"If any of you are very passing Bagend, uh...." He paused before letting his word flow, "Tea is at four, there's plenty of it, you are welcome anytime," the company bowed and I inhaled a deep breath to keep myself from crying, Father smiled before he finished, "Uh....don't bother knocking," he said, everyone let out a little chuckle. I put my hand to my mouth to stop myself from sobbing

"Oh come on, don't start crying on us now lass," Dwalin said, I giggled slightly

"I'm sorry, I can't help it," I smiled and rushed forwards hugging everybody in the company. Leaving Kili till last. I stood in front of him and held out my hand.

"I believe this belongs to you," I said, showing him the ruin stone, he smirked before closing my hand around it, holding it in a fist with his own

"Keep it, as a promise," he said, I giggled slightly licking my lips staring deeply into his eyes

"What promise would that be, young prince," The company chuckled

"That we will all see you again....." he says trailing off and kissed my lips softy. When we parted I nodded and stepped back, putting the stone into my pocket.

"And you boys better keep that promise," I said and jumped onto my pony, riding towards Gandalf. I pulled my pony to a stop and looked over my shoulder. I smiled as I remembered something

"Kili!" I called out, he stepped forward and smiled. I took off the necklace I had carved earlier that day and threw it at him, he caught it in his hands and looked at me weirdly and I laughed

"A promise for a promise Wolf Prince," I called out, he smirked putting on the necklace

"And what are you promising?" he called

"That I'll return to the person I love," I called back, smiling, his face went bright red and I laughed before riding off with Gandalf and my father back to the shire.
