Chapter 18- Staying The Night

"Wow, what?" I heard a voice say, I turned my head and saw Kili. I smiled and patted the ground next to where I was sitting. He slowly got down on the floor next to me and I handed him the book. He looked over the page and whistled.

"Wow," he said, I laughed. He gave the book back to me and I put it into my pocket. I looked up into his eyes and smiled, he returned the gesture. We began leaning in but were cut off by a cough. We instantly turned towards the sound, I saw Fili standing in front of us. "Lovebirds, I know you're about to have a session, but can that happen after dinner?" He chuckled, I blushed and Kili shook his head

"Fine, let us go, brother." He said standing up and putting his arm round Fili's shoulder going to the others. Yet not before turning around and sending a wink to me, I blushed and walked after them to the rest of the company. I sat next to Bofur and smiled at him.

"Looks like you were wrong about the lad liking you, lassie," he said, I giggled while blushing

"The journey's not over yet Bofur," I said smiling at him

"It doesn't have to be to prove that you were about him never being able to like you." he chuckled holding up his glass, I smiled and did a cheers with him before turning my head to face Kili. He was laughing with his brother and the others, he then turned and saw me staring and winked. I blushed and turned away as fast as I could hearing him chuckle. I shook my head while the others wolf whistled at my red face. I rolled my eyes at them and smiled, I then walked away from the table to Thorin who was once again-like always- staring off into the distance.

"Hello." I said "Milord"

"(Y/N)," he said chuckling, "Are the boys teasing you again, do I need to tell them off for being too rough?" I laughed

"No, no, it's fine. I just came to see how you were." I said, "This must put so much pressure on you."

"It does, but when it comes to family, I have to do everything I can." he said smiling at me, I smiled back, "He really likes you, you know."

"Who, Kili?" I said giving a confused look, he didn't answer with words, instead, a nod of his head. I looked towards the young prince, "I suppose he does.", I finished and yawned

"You best turn in for the night, you've been through a lot." Thorin said, "Goodnight, (Y/N)"

"Goodnight Thorin." I said and walked over to the others, "I'm turning in for the night, goodnight boys."

"Night (Y/N)." Balin said and a chorus of "Nights" and "Sleep wells" followed. I then heard Kili 

"Night beautiful," he said, I blushed and rushed off while I heard the others tease Kili. I lied down and fell asleep dreaming of my future......

Kili's POV: (After dinner)

I was walking to where I was going to sleep for the night and saw (Y/N) sleeping on her 'bed' which was next to mine. Her soft breaths she was taking while sleeping sound like music to my ears. I smiled at the sight and sat next to her, I put some hair behind her ear and kissed her forehead.
"Come on brother, you can kiss your queen later." I heard Fili say making me blushing

"R-r-r-right," I said and lied down, but not before softly kissing (Y/N)'s lips and wrapping my arms around her. I drifted off to sleep dreaming about the love of my life that was silently sleeping beside me.
