Chapter 11-The leaving and the high pass

I walked out of my room and went to the main area where we first met Lindir, I saw half the company there with their stuff naming Thorin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Nori, Bombur and my Father. I walk up to Kili and start a conversation.

"Where's the others?" I ask

"Coming." He replied

"Isn't Gandalf coming?" I heard my father say

"We will head off without him and then wait for him in the mountains." Thorin said just as the others came down the stairs.

Thunder and lightning crashing. All I could remember was big huge stone giants and huge cliff sides plus rocks getting thrown. I almost died and so did....wel everyone else, plus Bilbo almost fell off of a cliff side. We eventually found shelter in a cave, Thorin started to bark orders to everyone as I went into a corner of the cave hugging myself. Yes the outfit the elves gave me was much better than what I had but yet it's very cold when your drenched wet. Kili was talking with his brother and then turned and noticed me, he said something to his brother and rushed over to me. He knelt down to my level.

"Are you ok?" he asked, my teeth were chattering to much that I couldn't answer so I nodded my head instead. He took my hand in his "Your hands are ice, you're not ok." Even though no het came to my face I could tell I was blushing. What he did next was unneeded. He took off his jacket and wrapped me in it

"K-K-K-Kili? W-w-w-w-w-What are you doing?" I stuttered

"Helping you get warm." He said sitting very closely next to me and wrapping his arm around me and making me snuggle into him .

"K-K-K-K-K-K-K-Kili?!" I whisper shouted

"You need more warmth and I'm providing that with my body heat." he said, nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck, I could tell I was blushing. After sometime I started to get warm, yet I didn't want to move. Me and Kili had ended up in a lying down position, me snuggling into him, with him on his side facing me, playing with my hair and holding me close by my waist. I started to fall asleep but held my eyes open, yet a yawn escaped my lips. "Sleep, love, you need rest." I heard Kili say, he voice so soothing I fell straight into a dream filled slumber.

Bilbo's POV:

I couldn't sleep, what Thorin said kept replaying in my mind. I need to leave. I got up and got my stuff ready, I went over to wake up (Y/N). I saw her snuggling with Kili in her sleep, instead of waking her or going into "Over-Protective Parent Mode" I let her be. After all she's found what she's always wanted, Love. I almost got out of the cave until I was stopped by Bofur.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked

"Back to Rivendell." I replied

"No, no, You can't turn back now, your part of the company, your one of us." he said

"I'm not though am I, Thorin said we should've never have come and he was right, well about one of us." I said and looked at (Y/N) "I'm not a Took I'm a Baggins, I don't know what I was thinking, I shouldn't have run out my door" I finished turning around

"Your Home-Sick, I understand." he said, I spun around

"No you don't, you don't understand none of you do, you're dwarfs, you're used to this life, to living on the road, never settling in one place, not belonging anywhere." I whisper shouted at Bofur, the sadness in his eyes showed more than anything. "Oh. No I'm sorry I didn't -" I cut myself off, I felt so guilty

"No, you're right, we don't belong anywhere," He said, looking back to the rest of the company, "I wish you all the luck in the world." He said after a long silence, I looked up at him and he gave me a small smile "I really do" he finished, coming up to me and putting a hand on my shoulder. I began to walk off when Bofur said something else...... "What's that?" I turned around and noticed my sword glowing blue.................

Your POV:

I woke up to Thorin screaming "Wake up! Wake Up!" he yelled. All of a sudden the floor beneath us fell and we fell down this hole, only to fall on top of each other on this balcony type thing and then have a goblins run and capture us.
