~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Four days later~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I smiled as we reached the gates. Taking in a deep breath as I thought of the towns people ad how much they had been through and how much this would mean to them. I looked to my left.
"Thank you.....Ada," I said, smiling slightly
"Just remember, I'm not here for the towns people. I am here for our people," My heart wrenched at what he said. I knew his heart was ice, but how he called the Elves of Mirkwood 'our people' hit me in a hard spot. I had told him of what had happened and why I left and in return for him bringing food to the people for bargain and for the 'hopes', he said I was banned from seeing or feeling for Kili. He said he could never have a dwarf as a son-in-law, but I knew that I wouldn't be able to hold up my half of the bargain, though I said yes to keep the spirits of the Towns People alive.
We were met by dozens of people walking out of the ruins of the homes of the city of dale and Bard.
"My Lord Thrandial, we did not look to see you here," Bard said
"I heard you needed aid," Thrandial said, soon guards came out with carriages full with resources for the people. Everyone smiled and a sounds of gratitude and happiness came from the towns-people. I smiled as I un-mounted my horse and walked into the crowd of the people.
"(Y/N)!" I heard a voice yell, I turned towards the noise just in time to brace myself before Tilda crashed into me wrapping her arms around me, "You're alive, I thought we'd lost you!"
"I had to go get help. I knew we needed it. As I said, as long as I live and am around, I won't let any harm come to you," I said, "Now go eat, you need it for your strength," she nodded and ran off towards her sister and brother. I smiled slightly as I watched the peoples smiles. I then remember why my Ada came here in the first place, my heart raced as I felt inside my pocket at the Ruin Stone looking towards the mountain.
Kili's POV:
I stormed off away from the preparation for war against the towns people. My uncle had gone mad. Looking out towards the town I thought of (Y/N). My heart twisted at the thought of battling against her. I shut my eyes tight to stop the tears. As I opened them I saw a flicker of flames coming from the city, my mind went to just before the attack of the dragon. What she said, had been like an arrow to my heart. Just when I thought I had her as mine, our kind got in the way again. A Dwarf and a Three-Bread, she just thinks, it cannot be. I clenched my eyes again as I thought of her knew 'family' prince and king of Mirkwood. I brought my fist down on to the wall of stone as I screamed in anger. I closed my eyes letting a tear fall before turning back and walking into the halls of the mountain once again.
Your POV:
I looked down at what I was wearing.
"Ada, You cannot expect me to go to war in this gown......." I said, he gave a dark chuckle
"No my dear, the particular piece of clothing you will be wearing whilst you rid out with me to battle is on that Armor stand over there," he said pointing to the corner of the tent," I slowly walked over to it and ran my fingers along the outfit
I looked over at my father and sighed before sitting on the chair next to his. Not ready for the time of war.
