Chapter 6 ~ Serena's Past!

Ash woke up, a smile crept upon his morning face. He yawned, his eyes scanning the room for the honey-blonde. But there was no sign of her.

He stood up, and saw Serena curled up into the corner as her head laid on her knees, her arms wrapped around her legs. Her eyes had been red, and puffy. As if she had been crying.

Ash gently shook Serena in concern. "Sensei?" He whispered. "Wake up, please."

Serena immediately shot her head up, as she began to stretch, and yawn. "What time is it?" She asked.

Ash shrugged, scooting closer towards Serena. "Are you okay? Have you been crying?"

Serena knew that she couldn't lie her way out of it completely.

"Yeah." She replied. "Just had a nightmare, that's all."

Ash frowned, a part of him not convinced. But he decided to brush it off. "Oh, okay. We should wake up the others." He said, helping Serena up.

Serena nods, as she began to walk to the bathroom. Ash grabbed her by the waist, smiling as he watched the honey-blonde heat up.

"Where's my morning kiss?" He seductively whispers.

Serena playfully rolled her eyes, planting a kiss on his lips. "Happy?"

Ash nods. "Yup!" He exclaims.

Serena laughs at his childish behavior, as she walked off.

Ash began to walk off as well, until something got his attention. His eyes gazed upon Serena's feet, which were dirty, and had multiple deep, gushing cuts.

"H-hey, Serena?" Ash says in concern.

Serena spun around. "Yes?" She asks, tilting her head to the side.

Ash shook his head, forcing a smile. "Nah, go take a shower, beautiful."

Serena playfully rolls her eyes, shutting the bathroom door behind her. She turned the faucet on, splashing cold water against her pale face,

She rubbed her eyes, trying to rid of the memories in which  happened last night.

Red. That one person despises, the one person whom she would never, under no circumstances, see again.

Serena had one week. One week until Red had come again. She knew that Red was impatient, so there was a possibility that he'll come sooner.

Way too soon.

No, she didn't want to leave. Though, she did not have a choice.

She had to protect Ash. Her Ash.

*Flashback to three years ago.*

Serena Grace Yvonne, and Red Isamu Akai, two thirteen year-olds in love.

"Red!" Serena exclaims, watching the boy run after her.

"I'm gonna get you!" Red happily exclaims, chasing after the honey-blonde.

"Never!" Serena giggles, letting her long hair flow with the wind.

Red had caught up, tickling the sides of her waist.

"RED!" Serena calls out. "Red, stop! Hehe! It tickles!"

Red smirks. "That's what I'm trying to do, you dummy!" he teases.

He stops tickling her, wrapping his arms around her waist. Red began to kiss her, forcing his tongue into her mouth. He traces his fingers around her hips, as Serena gently pushes him away.

"Red, stop." Serena teasingly whispers.

Red did not budge, he ignored her pleads. He slipped his hands in her pants, making his way to her womanhood.

Serena gasps, pushing him harder than she did before. "Red, stop!"

"Oh, don't be such a pussy, Serena." Red snaps coldly.

"R-red?" Serena croaks, clearly taken aback. "What's gotten into you? Get the hell away from me!" Serena hisses.

"Don't worry Serena." Says Red. "It'll be okay." He pulls her skirt down, as Serena slaps his cheek.

He hisses, staring at Serena, with cold, dead eyes. He punched her stomach. "Don't do that, you bitch!"

Not a care in Kalos how much she cried, how much she bled, how much she got hurt.

Red took her collar, pulling her back into his house. He harshly pushed her against the sofa. "Do exactly what I say. No excuses, if you complain, there'll be consequences."

Serena breathes rapidly, releasing herself from Red's grip, and began to out his house, she ran, and ran.

Serena sobbed, her eyes gazed upon her bruised wrists.

*End of flashback*

Serena stared at her reflection, then back on her wrists. She sniffed, holding back her tears.

That jerk. That rapist. That heartbreaker.

Serena clenched her fists, attempting to rid of her memories. She growls, running her fingers through her honey-blonde hair.

She was confused, and filled with anguish. She placed her hands on her hips, hanging her head down low. Her mind immediately wandered off to Ash.

Her boyfriend, her savior, her knight in shining armor.

She smiled, the thought of Ash made her feel a million times better. She sighed dreamily as she imaged him, and his attractive features. His raven-black hair, his structured body, his charming attitude, his enthusiasm, his confidence. Everything about him was admired by Serena.

It was a shame that Red will take her away, and she'll never have to see Ash again.

"Knock knock! Hurry up, Sere! I've gotta poop!" Gary exclaims, snapping Serena out of her thoughts.

Serena nods, wiping away the tears that streamed down her cheeks. "A-Alright!" She stutters. "I'm coming!" She slipped her socks, and shoes on, along with the rest of her clothing. She hurriedly stuffed her sleepwear in her bag, and made her way out the door.

"Hey, sensei." Ash greets. "Dawn and I are about to get breakfast. Want anything? Muffins? Pancakes?"

Serena shook her head. "It's okay, Ash. I'm fine."

Dawn sighs, "You sure? No fruit?"

Serena smiles. "Fine, I'll take some strawberries."

Dawn giggles. "Atta-girl!"

"Serena." Clemont says. "Mind watching Bonnie for me? I'm coming with Ash and Dawn."

Serena nods. "Yeah, of course!"

"Alright!" Ash exclaims. "Pikachu? Mind staying as well?"

"Pika!" Pikachu exclaims, hopping onto Serena's lap.

Dawn knocked on Gary's door, before heading out the hotel room. "I'll be right back, Gary! Serena and Bonnie are here."

"U-uh, alright! Be safe!" Gary grunts. "Meanwhile, I'm having trouble taking a shit."

"Heard that, Gare-Bear!" Ash exclaims, sending a wink to Serena.

So, there you go! Chapter 6! I apologize for the awfully slow updates! I had school work, and I was super shattered when I found out that my Sadies dance had been cancelled due to weather conditions. Oh well, there's always next time! ;)
