Annabeth had decided that the underworld wasn't to bad (excluding the fact that she was dead.)
The ‘oh so wise and powerful’ judges had deemed her worthy of Elysium and she was being escorted towards it by one of the Furies.
Beside the screams of torment coming from the fields of punishment it was a lovely day in the Underworld.
Music played from the Isles of the Blesses and Annabeth wondered if any of her friends would be heading there when they died.
Elysium was beautiful.
The White cobbled streets and big houses were so spectacular that Annabeth almost couldn't wrap her head around it.
“This is you,” the fury gestured to one partially beautiful house, before flying off towards Asphodel.
“Uh, thanks,” Annabeth pushed the door open and walked it.
The inside was no less beautiful. A plush sofa sat in the middle of the room with a TV, further into the house Annabeth could see a kitchen, and a dining room. There was a closed door which Annabeth guessed was a bathroom.
There was an ornate staircase that Annabeth assumed lead up to the bedrooms.
There were bookcases everywhere with hundreds of books. And on every wall there were pictures. Pictures that Annabeth hadn't even known were taken.
Percy was in almost every photo. If he wasn't in them Thalia and Luke were.
Annabeth loved the pictures, but they made her sad. They reminded her of all that she'd left behind. They reminded her that she'd left Percy alone.
She pulled a random book off of one of the shelves and sat down on the sofa and began to read it. She didn't really take much if it in.
Her mind was back at Camp, but she could be never go back. Because surprise, surprise she was dead.
Annabeth hated the finality of the word. Dead. She was pulled out of her thoughts by a sharp knock on the door.
She got to her feet and set her book down, she walked towards the door and pulled it open.
Outside stood a tall man with black hair and black eyes. He was dressed all in black. Annabeth decided that the guy had a thing for black.
Next to him was Luke Castellan.
"Annabeth?” Luke’s jaw dropped.
“Hi Luke,” Annaneth smiled weakly.
"So you died?" He asked.
Annabeth nodded, “maybe you and your friend should come in,” she said, “I have a lot to tell you about.

When they had sat down Annabeth began explaining to Luke everything that had happened since he had died. Luke seemed to have some sort of idea from what recently deceased demigods had told him, but he humoured Annabeth.
He introduced his friend to her, apparently he was (surprise, surprise) a wizard who had been knocking around in 1998. His name was Severus Snape and he had taught Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny whilst they were at school.
Annabeth described everything that happened in the lead up to her death. Once she had finished Luke pulled her into a hug.
“I'm so proud of you little sis,” he told her.
