Ch.02 A New Start

I felt the warmth of the sunlight on my face, I opened one eye just to take a peek. It was the sunlight coming through the window. Good thing my windows designed near my bed side so I'll be forced to get out of bed with the glaring sunlight. 

I let out a yawn and stretched on bed and I finally got up, took my towel, and went to the bathroom and bathe. after taking a cold bath, I was brushing my teeth when I hear my phone ringing. My ringtone was Beautiful Girl by Teen Top it was the rap part. I got addicted to it, so I used it to get myself hyped up every call I receive 'God I'm a weirdo'. 

I hurried to go find my phone. damn it, I always misplace my phone inside my room. Last time I left it in the fridge, good thing nothing bad happened. I would cry if something would happen to my Galaxy SII and I just bought it, after rummaging through my clothes on the floor. found it.

"Hello?" I answered. I could hear muffled voices and laughter on the other end. Then I hear a familiar voice. That made me laugh.

"LINA! we miss YOUUU! visit us now!" It was a cheery voice and it was no other than ZE:A's Super DJ hahaha that's what he calls himself sometimes. I checked the caller it was Shik. After a few seconds, I heard his voice. 

"Lina, Dongjun is right. You should visit us today." he chuckled.

"Yeah, I would if you guys won't require food as an entry pass." I answered back laughing.

"Shik, why did you call?" I asked, him calling me early in the morning is not normal.

I heard him let out a long sigh. When he does this he's about to whine about something like a toddler.

"Remember the coordi I like?" this time his voice was in a whisper. I guess  the coordi is inside the same room as him.

"Yeaaaaaah..." ok I sounded indifferent. I know, the green eyes monster is showing but I must control it. I let my chance slip from the start so I can't blame her.

"She's here right now." he still said it in a whisper. wow thanks mister obvious.

"You don't say?" I said in a whisper too, mocking him.

"Ok, I know it was obvious since I'm whispering but you could at least be nice to me." he was annoyed and I could imagine him pouting in an annoyed way.

"ok ok, I'm sorry and what do you want me to do about it?" This is torture, like literally I have no choice but to set aside these feelings I feel right now. Why must I realize my feelings too late.

"As Dongjun said, pass by here right now." now his voice was in a cheerful tone. I'm afraid what he's going to say next.

"Of course, there's still the food entrance fee policy." he is so predictable. he asks for help and asks  for more than help. Helping feed his monster that lives in his stomach is not really part of the deal. I wonder what kind of creature lives in that small frame of his.

"Fine...I'm so charging Yonggil for your food." well their manager is nice so I would buy him food too,  I not only buy food for nine but for a maximum of twelve people. I bring home made stuff since I graduated from a Culinary School. So why not use what I learned from school.

After packing everything I went to my car, and warmed it up a bit, I stopped by my cafe first. which me and my college friend own together. She was already inside the cafe and preparing things. She's a bit chubby and actually pretty she's a bit tanned, just a bit. We did those crazy things together and that's how we met ZE:A because of our crazy plans. 

"Good morning!" I greeted her cheerfully as I got in the shop. 

"hmmm...Good morning, you're gonna leave me again this morning aren't you?" she raised her right brow at me. well yesterday I already visited them but this was an emergency for Shik, so I won't be able to help her today.

"I'm sorry Ji-hyun, I'm going to be here before lunch time, I'll call you. Any messages for DJ?" I asked teasingly. well she likes Dongjun and has never confessed yet. But I can feel there's something going on between those two.

"What?! go, go to your beloved Hyungsik. shoo...." she pushed me out of the shop and waved good-bye. I got in the car and straight to the guys' practice room, I kind of have my very own parking space near their company. It was kind of their CEO to give me a parking space there. I went up the stairs for excercise and the breakfast packed lunches, are not light as you think it should be. It may look light but trust me, it isn't.

Finally I arrived at the door, as I rested for awhile before going in. There was Shik standing by the door entrance, he took the bag that had all the food and he gave me a smile as he took it.

I went in and greeted Yonggil, he looked happy seeing the bag that Shik took. I improved a lot after taking up my masters on Culinary Arts. I sucked at cooking before, it's like I really didn't have a passion for it or even talent to start with but now I love cooking.  

they were practicing but the moment they saw Shik with the big bag they stopped immediately and ran to Shik.

"I'm so hungry! thanks Lina" Taehun called out. As he took his share.

I label each lunchbox and the sizes differ too. like Kwanghee's the smallest lunchbox since he's maintaining his figure, I know it's sounds funny but Kwanghee is Kwanghee. he's super lovable.

then I felt someone hugged me from behind, it was Heechul. He does this when I prepare something he's really craving for or if I made food that only is available in Busan. I know what it feels like to miss home. Except he is just a long drive away, while mine is one flight away. then I Shik started shooing Heechul away.

Heechul just looked at Shik with a pretend sad face and walked away feeling disappointed then ran to a corner, he looked happy as he opened the luchbox. He is so hyper and funny. Then the rest thanked me again. Except for Shik he just gobbled it all up without saying a single word. 

As I looked around I spotted a cute girl, she had long wavy dark hair, a nice figure if I may add and has a great fashion sense. Then I looked at Shik and back at her. Then imagined the two of them together. I nodded and thought, yeah they look great together.

Then I felt someone gave me a light whack on my head, as I looked at the direction where it came from. It was Dongjun.

"What did you do that for???" I looked annoyed but not really. He does this sometimes.

"How's Ji-hyun?" he looked cheerful. He sat beside me.

"She's fine, she's actually dating someone right now, he's one of our customers and he's very handsome plus he's rich." actually the dating part was a prank. Just to see what's his reaction to Ji-Hyun seeing someone.

"What? really? who? since when?" he looked panicky as he asked those questions.

"Since never." I laughed, as I saw his face starting to look grim, he realized it was a prank. 

He wrestled me and messed up my hair, playfully of course. Then he stopped.

"Sorry, just ask her out already, she likes you too. Now i said it. I promised her I won't tell but I can't stand seeing you two." I explained while I started fixing my hair.

"I will soon, If I feel ready. But I plan on calling her to confess but as for the going out part, that's kind of hard though." he said smiling

"well that's nice, telling her your feelings at least she'll feel at ease now." I said smiling back.

then Shik butted in in our conversation.

"So you like Ji-hyun all these time? and you told us you liked a trainee here." Shik raised a brow at Dongjun.

"Well that was a cover up, you guys tease me alot. so yeah, I kinda lied, sorry." Dongjun laughed.

Then everyone was in Chaos asking Dongjun about Ji-hyun.
