Chapter 42

HELLO FRIENDS. Sorry this is super late and also sorry for uploading during the superbowl but I know a lot of you are mad at me for leaving you hanging last time soooo here is the new chappy! I don’t want to give away the ending before you read it so just hurry up and read and make sure your emotions are in check and sit down and make sure you are not sitting within arms length distance of another person or object because you might hurt someone. I’m probably just making you more mad at me for continuing to talk. So okay peace out enjoy! 

Chapter 42-

My nerves increased more and more as I continued walking down the path. I went back and forth hoping and wondering if I made the right decision. I wiped my sweaty palms on the sides of my dress. 

I kept walking until I thought my feet were going to fall off in my heels. I guess I was stupid enough not to realize I would have to be walking around and worn heels. I sucked it up until I finally came to a clearing. I walked up and around a corner that was decorated on either side of the path with pink and yellow flowers. It was so gorgeous and romantic. The sun was fading, making the sky turn orange and pink. 

The path seemed never ending. I followed the path which extended up a hill and I looked down to see the ocean far below me. I felt like I was walking in circles up this giant hill to get to the top. 

Finally I turned a corner and saw him standing on a platform that seemed to be on top of the Earth. It was completely decorated with red, white and pink roses. There was an archway made out of branches and flowers that I had to walk through in order to get to the platform. 

I smiled as I walked closer to the platform. He looked so handsome. He was wearing a black suit with a pink tie underneath to match the roses. I lit up as he took my hand and helped me up.  I stood on the ‘X’ marked on the floor of the platform where I had to stand. 

“Hi,” he said.

“Hi,” I replied.

He took a deep breath, “You look gorgeous.”

“Thank you.”

Liam took both of my hands in his. I noticed I was still shaking. He held them tighter to try to calm me down. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to talk or if he was supposed to, so I just let him.

“Summer, this has been the most incredible journey I have ever been apart of. You have been constantly on my mind since the first moment you stepped out in that limo the first night. I never stop thinking about our first date on the boat in Paris when we jumped into the freezing cold water. I remember our first kiss on top of the Eiffel Tower. Every day we spend together is so much better.”

I nodded and looked down at my feet. 

“You are so amazing. It’s the little things that make me smile every time I am around you. Something about you makes me fall for you. I would be lying if I didn’t say I was in love with you.”
