I suddenly feel weightless like my body's being picked up or as if I'm floating.

My soul is literally being taken out of me and replaced by another... A demon's soul... I'm willingly letting a demon take control of my body...

"Do you even know what you just did?" Riyon says.

"Yeah, I do... I'm very aware of what I've done." I say.

"I hope you know that you'll most likely regret making this decision... Haha...sometimes I can't tell if you're stupid...or pure genius..."

Tch...

"What's this?" Maru says. "Oh, I get it... That isn't you anymore. Well I guess you-"

I witness myself move at what seems like the speed of sound and punch Maru, causing him to fall to the ground.

"Shut your mouth and make a move already." Riyon says. "If you don't...I might as well kill you here and now."

A long sword with a golden pommel and handle materializes and appears in my hand. Riyon points the sword just inches away from Maru's face. Despite that, he smiles.

"You won't do it..." He says.

"Oh yeah?" He swings the sword and it cuts clean through Maru's arm. A piercing scream echoes through the air and his severed arm falls to the ground with a thud. "Want me to slice the other one off? I have no problem with it."

Well, I do!

"Riyon, get the fight over with!" I yell.

"Now why would I do that?" He says. "Don't I have the right to enjoy myself? Besides, you should be happy that I'm doing this. Don't you want him to suffer after everything he's done to you?"

"You know good and well that I hate that man and that I think he deserves to get a taste of his own medicine but this...it just seems like too much..."

"Come on, Yin... I know there's a part of you that enjoys this. Just watch...and then you'll see..."

"No, don't you dare do anything else! I refuse to-"

I stop, now being too shocked to even finish my sentence. Riyon's slashing at Maru repeatedly, blood gushing out with each strike and severing each of his major appendages. They're all on the ground in a puddles of blood that continue to grow bigger.

"Admit it. You love this, don't you? After all this time, you can finally see the person who caused you so much pain then writhe in it now."

"No! How many times must I say it?!"

"Don't lie to yourself..."

An evil, twisted, smile spreads across my face and my arm unwillingly raises, bringing the sword up with it. It quickly comes down and pierces Maru's now limbless torso, forcing more blood to spill out of it and another scream to be let out.

I should've known this was a bad idea... Right now, I wish he was dead...for his sake. Maru may not have shown any mercy or care for me but...I won't let this continue. It's inhumane. No one deserves that type of treatment...not even demons.
