* Ava’s POV *
Months have passed since the day we all had found out I was pregnant. Of course, my daily schedule has been changed, especially when Len had been too protective of me – always making sure I was feeling alright and wasn’t stressed.
He had helped me out at the store whenever there were bulk orders for an event coming up. Cece had managed to train another staff that could help her when I wasn’t around. Mostly take over the whole store while Cece was now appointed to do most of the work I used to handle before. Whenever I needed to sign paperwork for the store, she would then deliver it to the house on her way home, picking it up right after I had fully examined it if it was appropriate for the store.
Lisa would sometimes drop by the house to bring some food as Len kept on telling Max and Lisa how he has been worried of me getting stressed over work and pregnancy. It was my first baby after all and I sure do need advices.
Flo also helped out whenever we were at their place, usually when someone’s celebrating a birthday, or just when they feel like inviting us all over for some catch up. Sometimes she even comes to the store to handle some of the things that she could help out with.
I’m just really thankful of all the help people had been giving me. Of course, my friends always drop by when they’re free. It wasn’t the same as before, in terms of my friends having a spare key that they could use any time of the day, though they were always welcome in our house.
Since getting pregnant, our get together now were homier, always hanging out in someone’s place, though usually it would be Will’s. And whenever we had our own thing, it was a coincidence that the Justice Crew boys had their hang out at Lukas’ place, Will’s neighbor. There are times that we all hang out at John and Bailey’s place since we’re all friends anyway.
“I really feel like Len’s just threatening Lukas to throw a party, just so he can watch over you next door.” Jade uttered. “My poor cousin.”
“Aww, I’m pretty sure it was nothing.” I told them, but Jade can’t let go of the fact that the boys always comes up with the same hang out, and it’s always at Lukas’ place. “But we tried to hang out at Clar’s place once.”
“Yeah, and do you remember what they did?” Jade asked me as I tried to remember what happened that night.
Clar was living in an apartment near one of the clubs that the boys don’t even go to. They were usually found at Scape or Xanity, though mostly Scape. So when we found them lurking outside when we all went out for food, we bumped into them. I even remembered Len telling me that we were meant to be together as our hearts kept finding a way for us to be together. It was so sweet of him.
“So you do remember...?” Jade asked as I nodded.
“But that was purely a coincidence.” I countered as Jade laughed. “And it was sweet.”
“Can you two just sort it out and let’s continue with the fun?” Joey proper called us off as we both nodded.
Jade and I weren’t even arguing or anything – pure fun. It was how we acted most of the time, like if it was other people who had witnessed us together, they would probably think we’re about to have a cat fight.
“Aww is Joey jealous of Len?” Jade teased as I smiled.
Joey then made a face that he wasn’t and we teased him all night. “I think you are, Joey. Aww isn’t that cute?”
“Nah, it’s utterly disgusting.” Jade uttered as Joey rolled his eyes, but continued on refusing that he was jealous of Len, until he started creating more drama, dragging Will into it.
