* Ava’s POV *

A day of bed rest was relaxing, especially when spent with your special someone and close friends. Having a lazy day at home, cuddling together like there’s no tomorrow brought happiness inside of me, and making me forget of doctor’s orders that I couldn’t be stressed at all.

A week of bed rest was so-so, especially when not all the time my boys were home and accompany me. Len was back at work for Justice Crew rehearsals and other things concerning the group. Harley was at home though, but I could see it in his face how badly he wanted to go out of the room and play with someone else, so being the awesome ‘mummy’ that I was – I had let him out and play at the park – which bored me to death, being at home, watching movies all the time.

A month of bed rest though – that is another word for ‘torture’. Being at home all day and night was something I hated the most, especially when I’m fond of going out all week, whether it may be for work or get together with friends.

It’s funny how being at home, doing nothing, was stressing me more than working.

But then again…

“Freedom!” I exclaimed, with my arms wide open, as I got out of the Pearce’s house, almost kissing the ground like a lunatic who just got out of a mental institution, dancing around the driveway and not minding people who were walking outside, watching me.

“Oh hello sunshine!” I greeted as I looked up a little bit, celebrating the sun rays touching my skin with the heat and providing light in the morning. “Hello air!” I uttered, breathing the morning air with glee. “Hello flowers!” Bending down, I smelled a few flowers as I heard Len chuckling in the background, waiting for me to get inside the car.

We were finally going home to our apartment and I was excited as a little girl about to get new set of toys to fill up a room she could play with. Maybe it was because I finally know the gender of our baby, and was proper excited to decorate her room at the house.

However, Len was such a spoilsport, wanting to just stay at home another day and cuddle. But then, I’m not complaining at all – especially when cuddling and Len were both involved. That’s the greatest treat I’d love to have right now. Being in his arms is what makes me happy the most.

“Hello pathway to Len’s car.” I uttered, swaying my hips and flapping my arms as Len watched me, smirking and biting his bottom lip. Sexy duck.  “Hello hot stuff.” I uttered, pretending that I was saying it to another dude, as Len got all over protective towards me, before he checked out the direction I was looking at, only he didn’t find any guy walking around. I giggled.

“Not funny.” He whispered in my ear, leaning in for a kiss.

It was actually, especially when he falls for it every time. “I love you, and only you.” Making it up to him, I leaned in for a kiss before entering the car. “Hello inside of the car!”

“Are you ready?” Len asked as I nodded, happily and excitedly.

However, when I looked back, Harley’s car seat was empty - Lenny must have forgotten to take Harley in.

“Babe, where’s Harley?” I asked as he paused for a bit, perhaps thinking where he had left off Harley. I chuckled.

“Oh, he’s with mum. They went to the park with Bella and Colin.” Len answered.

“Should we just wait, then?” I asked. “So you don’t have to come out later on, or perhaps let’s fetch him at the park.”

“I’ll just get him later. Mum might get upset – she might want to spend more time with Harley.” Len responded. I nodded, and soon, we were headed back to our apartment.
