Chapter 24: Steffy Snaps

Chapter 24:
Over the next couple of days, the press was hounding anyone associated with either Forrester Creations or Spencer Publications relentlessly. The news about Liam & Ivy's marriage was huge.

Like everyone else ranging from Eric to Ridge to Brooke, Carter & Steffy weren't immune to the insanity surrrounding Liam & Ivy.

As Liam's ex-wife, Steffy was being hounded the most, & that made Carter scared for her because he was afraid that she would snap at some point despite having dealt with scandelous headlines involving her family for many years.

Then one day, Steffy did just that. She snapped.

She was in her office looking over some paperwork when she noticed Liam walking by. Feeling her anger rising, she went after him.

"HEY!!" she yelled. Liam quickly turned around & immediately began to feel panic go through him.

However, he stayed calm enough to approach her.

"What do you want, Steffy?" he asked. "I need to talk to you," she said. "All right then," he said. He then walked into her office.

As soon as the door was closed, Steffy let her ex-husband have it.

"What the hell is your problem?" asked an angry Steffy. "What do you mean?" asked an confused Liam.

"You damn well know what I mean. Why did you marry my cousin?" aksed Steffy who could the rage going through her veins.

Liam, meanwhile, was confused by this. Why was Steffy so concerned about him & Ivy? It was really none of her business.

However, feeling that she deserved to know, Liam gave her what he thought she wanted to hear.

"I love her, Steffy," he said. "Are you sure about that?" asked Steffy who didn't believe him. "Yes. Why?" he asked.

Her answer shocked the hell out of him.

"I don't believe you, Liam. You don't love Ivy," she said. Liam just shook his head.

"You married her to make Hope pay for marrying Wyatt, didn't you? I know how much you hate him," said Steffy.

Liam was now furious. He couldn't believe that Steffy would mention Wyatt.

"Hope & Wyatt getting married had nothing to do with it. Who the hell do you think I am, Steffy?" asked a now angry Liam. "A complete & total piece of shit!" yelled Steffy.

Liam was now in shock. He had first been told off by Hope when he tried to stop her from marrying Wyatt in Hawaii, & now Steffy was letting him have it.

Steffy then finally let him have it in the worst way possible.

"You are the biggest asshole I have ever met in my life. You pitted Hope & me against each other," said a fuming Steffy. "You never loved either one of us. You just liked messing with us because it fueled your damn ego & made you look good to your worthless father."

Liam was now on the verge of tears. He had never been so viciously yelled at in his life, not even by his late mother. Steffy's rage & anger was becoming too much for him to take.

However, she wasn't finished yet.

"I swear to God, if you even so much as screw with Ivy, I will kick your ass, Liam, & I mean it," said Steffy who then turned her back to him.

Realizing that she was done tearing him to pieces, a very shaken Liam walked away.

As soon as he left, Carter walked in, having heard Steffy's yelling from the meeting that he had been at.

"Steff, are you OK?" he asked. She quickly turned around & went into his arms. They simply held each other for what seemed like forever.

"Yeah. I'm fine now. I just had to let it all out with him," said a now smiling Steffy as she looked deep into Carter's brown eyes.

Carter just smiled as he held her close. He was glad she had finally gotten it all out of her system.
