Three~Then...We Fell

I nearly dropped the phone when these words came to my ears. River stopped the record and remind silent. I need to talk to her. But something...isnt right.
"Yeah okay, see ya then", I said before hanging up.

"What's up?", River asked, snapping me out of shock.
"I don't know Riv.", I confessed. "We'll have to wait and see", I added.

River put on 'Faith', he knew was one of my favorites. I sat back down. What was Hether after? River sat beside me, "Who's in your head?"

With this, I told River everything about Heather. It was like the words poured out like water from a cloud. River became my diary. He was one of my closest and oldest friends, my words found home in his ears.

"She's a real snake", he said. I nodded. "She wants to "chat" about stuff.", I said. River looked at me and smirked. "I think you can hold your own. She isn't a match for Sarah Jane Swayze. I've seen you break up whole parties with one sassy remark."

"What's she after?", I asked getting up to pace the floor. "I'm gonna head home", he began, "You rest up for the battle."

I nodded. "Night Riv. Drive safe.", I said before he left.

I stopped pacing when the record stopped.

Lunch 12:14pm
I sat at a booth at Ruby Tuesday waiting for Heather. I sipped tea and Heaher finally showed. She wore a short red dress with heels and to much makeup.

I, on the other hand, wore a white tee with jeans and converse with a black leather jacket.

"So", Heather began in that snotty voice she dared to speak in. "How have you been?"

"Well", I replied with no emotion.
"You?", I asked.

"Great, thanks. But let's girl chat. How bout that boy who's hanging on to you?", she asked.

"That boy has a name. It's Corey Haim. He's my boyfriend.", I said.

"Touchy much?", she said.

"What do you wanna talk about?", I asked. I wanted to get through this fast.

"What ever happened to us? We were so tight and...", she paused for a second. "Then we fell."

"You ran around on your dying boyfriend! I lost every bit of love and respect for you then.", I began. After those words, the following ones flew out, I turned into somebody I didn't recognize.

"You stay away from my father, my mother, my boyfriend and my friends! Stay away from the press. Stay away from the tabloids. Stay away from me. I won't hesitate to make sure Edward finds out what you did. He doesn't know why we had that fight. You're evil. I don't like you, so get to stepping out of town.", I said.

"You'll get yours princess!", Heather said before scoffing and walking out. I sipped my tea and glared out the window beside the booth.

Patrick, Lisa and Edward Swayze's house 1:31pm
"So, how'd this fire start?", I asked my father who was checking the burnt down kitchen for any surviving objects.

"Heather came inside, we were shocked. She ordered to talk to you, if we didn't get over, she'd set it on fire. She set it on fire anyway.", he said.

"Something about her makes me feel she's up to no good.", I confided. He nodded. "She's probably after money or fame.", he said. He went down the hall to the bathroom to wash his hands.

"Dont let her get to you. She's only good for running her mouth.", my father said.

Corey's POV
5:17pm; Skating rink of LA
I'd practically been raised on the ice in my hometown in Canada. I'd taken a shine to hockey, it was my first plan of career before acting. I often come to the skating rink to get away.

"Hey Haim", a voice of a woman called.

I turned around to see Heather. My girlfriend's enemy. But I gotta be nice.

"Umm, hey", I said standing still now. She carefully walked over to me and tried to to slip on the ice.

"I gotta tell you something...about Sarah Jane", she said. I nodded. "Okay, what's up?"

We sat on the guardrail of the rink.

"I don't know how to tell you this.", Heather said.
"Tell me", I ordered sweetly.

"She's been lying to you."

As Hether said this my heart cracked.

"She's been seeing another actor. I don't know him, but I saw it."

My heart broke.
